Black Knight you are a beast! You eat ball lightnings for breakfast, laugh at doom blade or terror, and give the middle finger to Whitey, all for 2 black mana. Wizards please keep him and his white brother around for future players. In this case, reprints are always welcome.

Being black means he's immune to many black removal spells. Protection from white saves him from all the white single-target removals. i.e., survival wise Black Knight is stronger then White Knight, although White Knight is in the color of weenie enhancements.

Ive always played white faithfully.... Trying to resist the call of black magic... This guy is the reason I built my first black deck.... Well after beating my face in a few times that is... I'll be the first to admit... This guy has been a thorn in my side since 1996... But, I can't deny his ability.... A solid 4/5 in my book....

5/5, easily one of my favorite cards. Artwork is amazing and the flavor is outstanding. I just wish they dragged the text through the years... First Strike to nearly any opposing knight (PROT from White makes that even more possible) and just slaps away a ton of Black removal.
