I've spoiled so many people's day with this card XD. Exiling people's creatures doesn't make them happy to begin with but when you bring back that creature to use against them its even better! And if you've got a deck that has lots of ways to bring it back to your hand you can use it again and again.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked with master transmuter in the archenemy artifact deck. Since you don't return the exiled creature if Duplicant leaves play (unlike many other creatures with similar abilities), you return it to your hand with the transmuter, then pop it right back into play and exile another creature!

Can be used in any deck, gives an option for cards that have protection from a color, exiles the creature while giving you a blocker, can be combo'd easily to re-use; great card, 5/5 for its versatility.

That guy's face reminds me of Trevor Goodchild from AEon Flux (the cartoon).

This card is a must-have in 95% of all EDH decks, it's HIGHLY effective creature removal; plain and simple. I learned the hard way in last week's EDH that duplicant wins games by removing creatures from the field pretty much at will no matter what color(s) your playing. Add in any kind of blink or bounce effect for even more headaches for your opponent. 5/5 in EDH now that I know how insane it can be. 3/5 in normal constructed due to it's high cost.

it's funny how many times I've seen this card without realizing you can exile you opponents' creatures too. now if only it copied their abilities...

Is that thing made of mercury?

They may as well add a Walter (Walternate) Bishop creature card that lets you gain control of all shapeshifters.

Combos easily to repeatedly remove threats, removes any unshrouded creature otherwise. Good artifact creature for 6.

Mono-colored EDH decks should run this to deal with that fun-spoiler, Iona, Shield of Emeria.

Targeted removal on a vanilla creature. If it didn't cost 6 it might be exciting. I guess efficient doesn't need to be exciting though.

Since he's an artifact, he kills Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . Only non-combo way to kill it (that I know of).

@Cloudeye: 0_0. T-1000. I'm going to get a copy of this guy and art edit him so he's the T-1000 now. Thank you for the idea.
