Wow: this is really bad. Not only is it only life gain, it is life gain that is contingent upon an action that isn't performed by the card itself. Wizards stated that they were pushing the power of life gain in this block due to the presence of Infect, yet this seems like it's sprinting in the opposite direction of that intention.

So the wellsprings give you even more stuff

Well no wonder they lost. Even to the end, the Mirrans thought card disadvantage and life gain would save them.

Enchantment
Whenever a Artifact is put into the Graveyard from the battlefield you gain 3 life.
Would be cool but barely playable outside of limited environments. Like this it's the worst card in this set.

Kind of weak as a one-time thing. This aura desperately needs Rancor's return-to-hand trigger. A trigger that has reappeared on other auras in this same set.
in limited, this is a decent card because so many artifacts have "tap and sacrifice to ..." so its basically a "splice onto artifact sac" for +6 life. thats not bad considering bountiful harvest and other awful green life gain

They should have made it something absurd, like 12 life or 18.

Woah that sucks... When do you need lifegain most? When your opponent is pummeling you and having destroyed your stuff. If your stuff is destroyed and your opponent keeps attacking you, will you be sure you can trigger this card? And if you do, will the 6 life save your butt? Not to mention that the artifact you put this on can still be bounced, exiled, returned to hand, stolen, pacified and so on, and this aura won't trigger.

In the midst of some of the most overpowered cards ever, I still see things that make me not want to buy boosters.

These and Fangren Marauder perhaps along with some artifacts you sacrifice to use? Then Elixir of Immortality gets you 16 life! May be good enough for a fun casual deck.

This doesn't work with Elixir of Immortality since that cards is never put onto the graveyard. Elixir of Immortality goes from the battlefield to your library.
This is for the times where you're getting mauled by some anti-artifact deck stupid enough to target your enchanted artifact, maybe you enchanted Spellkyte for some reason.
I dunno, Relic Crush when there's only one enemy target artifact and then destroy whatever you have. Enchant a spellbomb, sac, and get a land?

Well, it has good art, at least.

How about a green/black Artifact Lifegain Deck? Stuff like Sanguine Bond, Mycosynth Lattice, Fangren Marauder and a destroy all Artifacts spell... but then again there would be easier ways

this card plus equals an amazing combo where you either gain twelve life or hit opponent for 3 every time you attack.

Enchant opponent's artifact. Use Glissa's scorn on that artifact. They are down an artifact and a life, and you gain 6 life.

I really wish it had flash, so that you could salvage an artifact that was already going to be destroyed.
I did see a useful application for this, though. It was against some weird janky deck that involved blowing up your own artifacts to deal damage. This card by itself stalled the game for two turns. I'm sad to say that that's the best it will ever do, though...

At least you got to see it played, Totema. Not once, during the entire 6 months I spent drafting full Scars block, did I see this card hit the battlefield.
Maybe if it was an instant and read: Target player gains 10 life, maybe, MAYBE it would see play. Maybe the dev team watered it down because of the forthcoming Chalice of Life.

It's a fun card. Put it on your own artifacts with Sac abilities, like Sylvok Replica, and suddenly this becomes six life for one mana.

Not terrible with Golden Urn. Sacrifice it on turn four for 10, then transform Chalice of Life. Too bad you had to use two cards to do it, but whatever.

The rare Aura that's only card disadvantage if it doesn't get killed.

Put it on Scroll of Avacyn, 11 life for tapping 1 mana AND you get to draw a card... Maybe I will... Yes you need an angel out to get the full 11, but if I'm putting this on a scroll I'm planning to have an angel out... Haha
