This set needed more anti-infect cards like this and Melira's Keepers for Mirrans to stand a better chance. I love rooting for the underdog and all, but I also don't like lost causes.

@gezus82: This is pretty much strictly worse than incinerate unless against an infect deck. Doesn't hit players unconditionally. It is arguably more fun than incinerate though, more satisfying to pull off so to speak.

I dunno how I feel about this. Infect is good, for sure, but the creatures cost a lot and don't have the most amazing abilities. Does the game really need cards like this to be balanced?

According to this, Necrogen Scudder and Blistergrub are pure enough. I like the card, I just think this is a perfect time to take a lesson from Arabian Nights and mix flavor and function together. Instead of Infect, have it punish the Phyrexian watermark cards.
