I remember how Inquest magazine once stated that Stangg killed himself via "the legend rule" (it wasn't called that back then, but whatever). It's hard to believe that a magazine that featured Magic content so heavily could be so clueless as to the actual workings of the game. The writers at Inquest were legendary for their ignorance.

@Trygon+Predator; why on earth would skull decorations lead you to think he should be Black, as opposed to R/G? While black's mana-symbol is traditionally a skull, and it does deal a lot with death and decay, Red AND Green are both known for being predatory and/or shamanistic, both of which tend to deal with skulls, bones, and blood.
But yeah, legends was a weird set, and I could definitely see him being black.

Pretty unique for its time and bizarrely on-color, for Legends. The Stangg Twin bury clause sucks, but it provides flavor. Gemini Engine is a direct homage, while Broodmate Dragon and Armada Wurm are less direct, but in the same vein. I could imagine that this card's coolness factor is probably higher than all of them, though and was probably a lot of people's favorite cards, back in the Legends era.

Like Gemini Engine, except this card allows you to use the token when blocking. Also, this card is harder to destroy. Gemini Engine is better for decks that build around it, and Stangg is better for most red-green decks that can pay for him. Please correct me if you disagree.
