Chump blockers in mass, as well as fuel for cards like Overrun, Titanic Ultimatum, and Ajani Goldmane. During one planechase game me and another player decided to have two planes out at the same time for fun; at one point in the game we had this card and Naya in play at the same time, so many goat tokens.

Always fun to end up on Velis Vel or Bant when you walk away from this plane. :)

NEVER PLAY THIS WITH A COAT OF ARM IN PLAY! 20/21 GOATS ARE WAY 2 BIG!!!!!!!
Is it just me, or is it obvious this card has a typo?
3 goats/land is HUGE--a fetch gets you six, Krosan Verge 9. Meanwhile, the chaos effect is a near blank. Shouldn't this card give you ONE goat per land, and three on Chaos?

This came up in a game aof Planechase, and led to twenty minutes of random shouts of "GOOOOAAAAAAATS!" I was sorely tempted to walk over to the store counter, look through the binders, and buy me a playset of Goatnappers.

Probbably my favorite experience with this was me against my friends sliver deck and i wound up with two active Beastmaster Ascensions and things were going pretty well until he played a winged sliver... so I pulled out levitation. We spent a few minutes trying to figure out what 10/11 flying doom goats would look like.
In my playgroup, it is mandated that one must bleat loudly whenever a Goat comes into play.

Ah I remember this plane.
I dun like it, not because of any reason, I just don't
One game, I had 3 Essence Wardens and some other Fungus (4FA) and I had so much life. My friend was playing a Naya deck with Titanic Ultimatum as the biggest win condition. He has like 11 Goats from this plane and attacks me with Titanic Ultimatum
I survive, and take it all, I'm at like 20 life.
Next turn he does it again. I 'chump' some damage to try and live, but alas I was 1 toughness short.
I turn to my other 2 friends (currently its more like a 3 on 1) and ask if they have any toughness boosters, one says no (true). The other, who was newer, but did know what he was doing says no. He was playing a new green deck, so my mind says, well Giant Growth is extremely common for a new player, and I ask again.
"Are you sure you don't have any? Not even a Giant Growth?"
He says no again, so I die, a few minutes later he looks and says, did you mean THIS CARD?
Now I know this is on the internets, and you can't read exactly his emotions when he asked it, but he had one the entire time, and when I asked if he had THAT card he said no. During his turn (right after I died) he asked in a, "is this that card that would have helped but I wasn't paying a lick of attention?"
Yeah it was! HIOFhsiUgeiwaluhguewhailgh!
I hate that, when people give up in a planechase game. Come on lets make it 3 on 1 and see how his advantage goes. They both scooped, for lack of board.
While I'm telling some cool stories you can enjoy another one from last night.
Since then I have made a U/G Sliver deck for Planechase, I love me fungie friends, but people can get annoyed if I take a while (you know from having so much fungus counters)
Now I didn't make it so rape everyone, I love fun too. I based it on my favorite Sliver, Dormant Sliver, I think after this I'll write what the deck was like on it, I love Dormant Sliver.
Anyway, one other person was playing Jund Slivers, so we were kinda working together. My Dormant Slivers were letting him draw his deck, my deck is pretty heavy control, and I wasn't drawing great great. His field was growing wayyyy too big, he was just drawing and drawing (mostly because he was playing any sliver he wants, I always play a standard set, so this was Time Spiral Standard Slivers) however, he played the Homing Sliver So I cycled some of my more expensive slivers and got 4 Dormant Slivers, and I started to mill and mill and mill him, he couldn't play any more slivers and they all had defender.
I was quite pleased, I love beating superior numbers with brainpower.
Why didn't I die you ask? I had Slivers too.
I had Gaea's Blessings unfortunately I had one in my hand and one in the graveyard, and I forgot about the grave one, which caused me to lose first (I milled myself with Screeching Sliver to get the bonus effect before my draw, but there wasn't one)
I got 4th, but hey, I was happy.
Hope you enjoyed my cool bro stories

On a Chaos roll:
"Sorry, mate, you're not escaping goat torment today. But here! Have a goat for your troubles!"

Azusa, Crucible of Worlds, and fetch-lands works good too.
