I can't really say that I like this card. You have to be able to pay for it with green and red and it dosen't have that much going for it.

Ok card. However if you want to make a monster she is perfect for Runes of the Deus. 3/5

When I see this guy, I immediately compare him to Cerodon Yearling.

I guess he fills the 2 slot if you aren't running white, and he compliments the 2 slot in a Naya colored deck.

Overall, he is good for some small aggro, but I think there are better uses for the 2 slot.

Worked well for me. I could get it out first couple of turns and start hurting someone. :)

Why doesn't this have trample? If it did, it wouldn't be so unfairly compared to Cerodon yearling. It would also make more sense.

Good creature. Nothing too flashy, but still good. 3/5

@RainyDay2012 Shes a Jund character, "If you breath fire, she must fight you." Dragons, get it?

Like everyone says there are better 2 drops than this, but the only thing is that a lot of people can't get anything better. I found it interesting when I read in an article in the wizards archive(I believe by Rosewater), that the average player of Magic is 13 years old. I was surprised at first but realized that these games, when looked at from the point of view of someone who's never played, I think it's assumed that this is a kids game. The beauty of it is that it IS a kids game, AND a game for adults/young adults too. The fact that on the surface, it is a really simple game to play, is very straightforward, and doesn't take anything but the cards to play, but when you delve deeper, there is a whole other level of strategy and deck building designed for intellectual people(and there are plenty of you guys in the MTG community).

Anyways, with that being said, I believe this card appeals to a more young, simplistic player that doesn't have access to all these great cards that most of us do from all the sets over the last 17 years. Heck, this game is 4-5 years older than the average player! So taking all of this into account, with this card being for the first bracket of players, this card is pretty darn good. I think it's a great card that is a top notch 2 drop for some of the younger players and who doesn't love the gold cards! Getting 1-5 boosters a month (that's how it was for me back when I started in 96) doesn't really allow those players to get their hands on a lot of variety. Let alone cards that cost 10-20 bucks a pop! 4/5 for this card.

2.5/5 otherwise :D

Nothing flashy, but solid utility. Flavor text is awesome too.

Ahaha
Runes of the Deus turns this otherwise unassuming 2-drop into an absolute beast.

True. I remember I had a phase like that with Pokemon cards back in... what.. 97ish? I mean, I was young I could barely afford a couple boosters at a time, and I was always excited about different cards. I didn't care as much about 4-ofs and just put in whatever seemed to make sense for the deck for however many I could/felt i should. Now I often not only have very particular themes but want good effectiveness on top of it making building decks almost arduous.

Even when I was new to magic just a couple years ago I had that thrill of only putting in cards I had access too and such, but it makes sense to me to buy singles and run with em. It's affordable, certainly more so than boosters most of the time, but there is something missing that can't be replicated once you get older, and that's that idea of having limits. I can go nab cards I want to put in at will just about and only wait a couple days. Ah.. to be innocent and ignorant of it.

That said, this is between a 2.5 and 3. It's a 2/2 for 2 with an ability, but at 2 different color requirements you do end up expecting just a teensy bit more bang for your buck. This is the difference between ceroden yearling being pretty darn good and this being 'decent'. 3/5 from me, as it at least meets my minimum expectations of a "good" 2 drop.

This card is great for a straight-up R/G beatdown deck. It's like a R/G Goblin, which allows it to benefit from cards like Boartusk Liege and Runes of the Deus.

Pretty scary for a 2 drop. Great in any Jund deck, or hell, even Naya to put the hurt on early.

Tap: Rip-Clan Crasher fights target creature. At the end of turn, a player controls a creature with "Red: This creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn." and Rip-Clan Crasher has not activated this ability targeting a creature with that ability, sacrifice Rip-Clan Crasher.

I always thought her flavor text references her clothes, which are made of seemingly very flammable material (leaves?) and look very easily like if you breathe fire you'll quickly have her naked. So if you breathe fire, she must fight you and kill you before you burn off her clothes.

The flavor text should read, "Meh."

I'd run this over Storm Crow.
