It's quite good if u have at least 7 creature with power 5 or greater.

I love the art on the card, and I always did have a thing for evlish druids, but overall not a very good card, unless you happen to have the most amazing opening hand and subsequent draws. To make her any better than say, the Knotvine Mystic, she'd have to reveal at least 3 creatures from your hand, which can definitely be hard to do most of the time.

so i say i got really nice deal and got 3 mana umbral mantle and 3 creatures with power 5 or greater in clash god speaker in 4th turn i got creature unlimited/unlimited with any nice ability i tap it last time and use soul fire :P or it can be nice combo with drumhunter too coz number of cards in your hand makes good possiblity to have more creatures.

Hmm... seems like she might save you if you're a bit mana-screwed with a hand full of big creatures you can't play. Not sure how useful that would be in a real game, though.

This will be very nice with the upcoming Omnath, Locus of Mana.
Too much effort, for not enough reward. This should have been more along the lines of Metalworker, then it would have been playable.

with just her and a 5cmc creature, you can play that 5 costed card turn 4. you reveal it for the mana used to play it. not terrible.

why is she rare?

@Cheza
Because that ability would be ridiculous on an uncommon, especially in limited. She has a better body (read: Double Entendre) than Greenweaver Druid and her ability only takes a tiny bit more effort to set up for the same result. On top of that, with the right hand you can get even more mana. Or lightning bolted...whatever.

It's kind of weird that her effect lowers the power of her effect: you want to get as much mana quickly to play those tough creatures.
The other problem is that she could tap for 0 mana, and that's always a problem.
Lastly, She costs 3 and her ability isn't consistent: you need something to make her better. Wouldn't you rather have a consistent Fyndhorn Elder, always tapping for ? Sure, you could tap for or more, but... I dunno.

Greenworker. I wish the "Power 5 or greater" clause wasn't in there, but at least someone could start brewing with this and Bloodrush cards from Gatecrash.

Combines nicely with cards that draw for power like Soul's Majesty. Dump a fatty, draw off it, use this to generate lots of mana off all the fatties you just drew.

All that cloak, and she can't even cover up.... not that I'm complaining mind you ;)
