Flavour and mechanic fits Cowardice perfectly. I'd still prefer an Elvish Herder, Indigo Faerie or something else less expensive for repeated targeting with Cowardice on the table.

Lmao Changelings are also cowards.

This was one of the Future Shifted cards I least expected to see...

I really could never take this card seriously.

Might be somewhat good in a Warrior tribal, otherwise, it's pretty mediocre. Too expensive to see play.

this is pretty hilarious

And why isn't Norin the Wary a Coward?

This card is beautiful in my Giant tribal deck, get him out with a stinkdrinker or 2 and he's nice and cheap. After that, with most of my giants being warriors, just splurge one turn and make everyone of your opponents creatures cowards and slaughter.

"EES GOOD TIME TO RUN, COWARDS!"

Hey, you can also disrupt your opponent's tribal stuff with this! In red!

...okay, it costs 7 mana so that's probably not what you're looking for. Oh well.

Built a warrior deck with this guy and I play 4 Shields of Velis Vel. Swing for the win!

I think I would be sufficiently cowed staring up at a giant's disturbingly undersized kilt.

"Cowards can't block Warriors."

Always a good way to start off a text box.

5/5 for rules text alone. "Are you a bad enough dude?"

He has some of the coolest and most flavorful abilities I printed on a magic card.
Wormfang
★★★☆☆ (3.2/5.0) (2 votes)
some of you may say he isn't the greatest card ever printed i'll even acknowledge that those who say to expensive, or to high a cost to use his abilities effectively have a point, Yet he shall always remain ranked as my all time favourite card for as a Timmy he stands for all I stand for.

"Cowards can't block warriors. Paper covers rock. Jokers are wild. No backsies."

(I would actually love an Un-card where your opponent has to make some sort of choice and the reminder text says (No backsies.))

This card will fit perfectly in my Coward tribal deck

Form of the Squirrel

Then you can legally (within Un-block rules) make your opponent a "Coward". (You'll have to pull off some mindslaver-type shenanigans, of course. But what are Un-games for?)

I have no idea why they'd reprint him from Futuresight, if they weren't going to print anything else that interacts with him, asside from Changelings. Interesting flavor, poor execution.

"Entire team is cowards!"

Now I really want a version of this card with Team Fortress 2's Heavy Weapons Guy as the art.

Hilarious to read and even funnier to implement. My only caveat is that Norin the Wary isn't a Coward.

Could be good in a Lovisa Coldeyes EDH deck.

I read it, laughed a bit, then realized it WASN'T and Un-Card now I'm like WTF?? this is just strange, funny, but even for future sight it's a bit odd...

Interestingly, Cowards can't block Warriors, but they still can block the much more terrifying Vampires, Beasts, Zombies and even Eldrazi?

...kinda strange from a flavor standpoint =O

I like Champion of Lambholt more for a Warrior tribal deck,
but if you happen to play monored or EDH, this might be worth a thought.

The worst time to look up: When a giant is standing above you wearing a torn kilt.

I wouldn't want to block either if that's the view I was being presented with.... not just the fact he's a giant.

Ironically, this becomes decently "broken" with Cowardice out.

Even more ironic is that Norin is a warrior.

Obligatory new card names:

Coward Titan
Coward Berserker
And of course, Coward Ultimus
