Undervalued card.
The clash mechanic is the same as Scry 1 for both players plus a reveal. On top of that, you could get two cards for one and two mana. I don't see much downside. Black has little to control their library and the scry effect can filter things out that aren't needed. If the opponent keeps what he revealed, you can hit him with a Brain Pry, Cranial Extraction or Thought Hemorrhage. If he doesn't keep it, then you just Fatesealed 1.

Another effective addition to a Liliana deck. Worse case scenario a 2 mana 1 for 1 card tradeoff.

At worst, this is a 2 to cast one for one. Not that great, admittedly. But the additional scry 1 does give a liiittle bit of compensation (even if both players do it).
At best, this is a slightly less crazy Hymn to Tourach!!! Or a Gerrard's Verdict without the lifegain. + Scry 1, giving it some liiittle but of extra.
C'mon, we all love our 2 to cast discard 2 cards cards. An let's say you win the clash 40% of the time (I reckon it should be a bit more closer to 50%). On average, you're making your opponents discard 1.4 cards and having a scry 1. It's not too bad.
Then you could use the things that iondragonx says. But that's kinda true for all clash cards.

2 cards on the second turn is a biiig chunk of your hand. From experience, winning the clash in casual equates to winning the game. Losing the clash is still ok because the scry 1 DOES give you a bit of room to recover. In decks which you don't really do anything on turns 1 and 2 anyway, this is a fairly innovative addition for budget decks (especially because if you're not doing anything early, you're deck is likely to have more higher converted mana cost cards.... buuut maybe also more lands.. =\ )

I would say that this should be a 3.7 -3.8 card. After using it, it's not bad. Not bad at all.

Also, late game, when both players are in top-decking mode, unlike plain discard cards, Pulling Teeth lets you scry 1 while plain discard cards become slightly useless. At this point, there's no much difference between discarding 1 card and discarding 2 cards.

'Hey guys, I've got this new game I want to try out. You see, we get Jeff here (pats Jeff on the shoulder) to yank out our teeth. Whoever screams loudest loses. Doesn't that sound fun?
