this is the only poor creature left without any creature typesince The Grand Vreature Type Update.
why didn't wizards give this card one among these 400 different choices? at least one of them should suit to this guy, shouldn't it? be it human, shapeshifter, demon or spirit...
i mean it's a nameless race, not a typeless one. ;)

I think them not giving it a type was a flavorful point - it is very neat to have a creature that doesn't have any types. Even if it isn't a very good card, having no creature type at least makes it an interesting card.

The typelessness of this card is good because it's the only interesting thing about it now, given how its power level is so atrociously misjudged!

hahaha! his name should be nameless racist! He doens't like other white guys!

I played this card before Ice age came out and I thought it worked well. Things were different way back when, but he was a bad ass at the time.

Even now in some cases you could get a big huge trampling guy for cheap. It's not a much worse card than channel if you set it up right.

As if Typeless Race is a more acceptable name than Nameless Race.

Almost always worse than minion of the wastes. Check that, just straight up always worse. With black's mana accel, there may be a one-turn difference on getting these 2 out, and the limits on this guy just make it unplayable.

Why did The Dark have all those weird creature types?

Meh...

I tried using these in a deck once where all the sorceries were 'deal damage and gain life' and I had a friend who played a lot of white so it worked out well...

Play with Painter's Servant or Eight-and-a-Half-Tails. There's actually a lot of cards in magic that turn cards white...more than any other color.

"This doesn't have a creature type. It's Nameless."

Oooh, WotC. You clowns.

I love amusing rulings. This is my favorite, although having "x is redundant" twice is great too.

Rather useless, though the lack of a creature type is at least in theme.

Certainly not the best card around, but DAMN do I love that flavor. No creature type? Beautiful. 3.5/5 just for that.

I really wish this had been reprinted in Lorwyn... came close with nameless inversion, but i really want to see this printed with no creature type.

Why does Zuko from avatar the last air bender look like him?

Make sure it's at least 4/4 so you can cast Nameless Inversion on it for double namelessness!
