The restriction "same controller" is just lame and vastly reduces the playability of this card. Saving your Steel of the Godhead sitting on a more humble creature which is about to die is cute and stylish but far from stellar.

My friend kills me by putting Favor of the Overbeing, Shield of the Oversoul, Steel of the Godhead and Daily Regimen from Slippery Bogle onto Empyrial Archangel. The flash part is very tricky...

I use them in my Bruna, Light of Alabaster EDH... sometimes it's just safer to shift auras somewhere else than risk them getting exiled from the graveyard...

Not sure where else they would work though!
