With her on your side, you can safely tap out and then still be able to do all kinds of stuff to mess with your opponent's turn. Also, she's insane with Opposition. 5/5

I can just concieve of all the shenanigans now!

Obviously not great in many decks. But never bad, if only because it, at the very worst, gives all your guys a faux-vigilance ability. Not terrible then in pretty much any deck. Obviously rather fantastic in decks that are built around it (though Murkfiend Liege has stolen most of Seedborn's thunder).

This effect is not green. And yet it is very sexy. I would design an 'instill energy' muse with, "At the beginning of each upkeep, untap target permanent."

I just love the ability, and the fact that she's a some kind of nature spirit. If only she costs even one mana less...

Murkfiend Liege is better and also very flavorful and cool, but she's just a tad bit cooler.

This card is very fun to use in multiplayer. With Ambasador Lacuatus it will result in a milling carnage. With Elvish Piper or Arcanis it will ...... hehe. You can even use it with Upwelling to store EVIL amounts of mana for that X mana spell or ability

Nice control creature, incredibly good with Opposition.

Works great in Blue/Green, as it lets you be aggressive on your turn and frees up mana for counterspells on your opponent's turn. That's my favorite application, at least. And, of course, it locks opponents down in conjunction with Opposition.

With her on your side, no need to worry about retaliation when playing Timbermare.

A couple of these in an elf deck with a couple of vedalken orrery and that thing that lets you pay 1 to draw a card whenever an opponent does and it will be your turn every turn.

This card makes Omnath, Locus of Mana a very credible threat every turn.

I personally like Quest for Renewal better than this card, since it only costs 2 to play, even if you have to tap creatures before it works. However, this card is much more immediate in effect, and untaps lands as well. Very nice for EDH decks that use Rofellos or Omnath.

If you could pull it off, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir seems very tempting to add to the blue/green deck Ragamander was talking about.

I see the similarity between this card and Murkfiend Liege, but they are different. Notice that the Muse untap all permanents while Murkfiend Liege only untap creatures, and only blue/green ones at that?

No, Liege does NOT replace the Muse.

I like this with Wake Thrasher.

This is the card that get me into playing Magic way back when it was first printed. Its uses seem endless. The idea that Murkfiend Liege is better than this is just preposterous. Being able to untap all permanents you control gives you way more options. Even in G/U, it opens up your lands for counterspells. Play with Ertai, Wizard Adept, Temporal Adept, Vedalken Orrery, Leyline of Anticipation, or Symbiotic Deployment to destroy.

Love using this with Omnath, Locus of Mana in EDH.

This card will win you the game with anything that allows you to draw each turn.

Few cards in green *** me off.
This is one of them. And it does so more than a lot of other cards in Magic.

Seedborn Muse + Glare of Subdual in a token deck = insane, but don't expect your peeved opponents to let you or the muse to live very long.

This card plus Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger in a BUG EDH deck is a good way to get people to stop playing EDH with you. Throw in Consecrated Sphinx for maximum table flippage.

Yes this is powerful, but there is risk. If you tap your everything on your turn, your opponent can then respond by killing the muse, which leaves you wide open.

In the right deck, this effectively turns the game into "Your Turn: My Turn Edition".

What an awesome creature card! Shit starts to get crazy as soon as I have this card in play with my Trostani, Selesnya's Voice EDH deck. Depending on what I have in play/hand, I can populate, draw cards, get life, or pump my creatures, tutor for more creatures, play fog or other protection spells, etc, etc... ON EVERY DAMN TURN!

I first thought Trostani wouldn´t really be able to go crazy, since it´s really hard to go infinite with tap abilities, but this card here really convinced me about the opposite. Definitely a must-have in EDH if you play a green general and other cards with a strong tap ability.

I'm currently running this in an Opposition deck with Static Orb. Even her with the orb is good enough. They still only get 2 permanents during their untap step, while you get to untap all of yours during their untap phase.

The flavor text doesn't match the rest of the cycle. The others say "Her voice is __, ..." This says "Her voice is the __, ..."

Run with Blue

Also keep in mind she is kind of "free to cast". You get the lands ready by next turn when you need it.
