Old throwback to goblin warrens. I am a goblin player but not a storm person so this card never appealed to me, I'd rather play dragon fodder.

Using this in conjunction with a Dark Ritual or two has helped me really keep up with the numbers game involved in my friend's elf deck.

I use this card to great effect in my goblin deck. Combos great with desperate ritual and seething song. I one dropped 10 goblins turn one through use of two desperate rituals, a seething song. And a goblin warstrike. Turn three the game was over.
I like this card the first time i saw it, then this comes to mind... but in any case this is good stuff.

My opponent cast 8 spells in one turn.. I cast stifle to counter storm, then my turn tinker out a darksteel colossus and smash his two weenie 1/1 goblins.

This card is very festering in MTG Online Pauper format but could easily be disrupted by Seismic Shudder. LOL.

My favorite scenario:
Opponent casts 90 mana spells then Empty the Warrens and a Goblin Bushwacker with kicker then swings with a legion.
Stop hating on it. Of course there are answers to it, but it's still epic if and when it actually happened. I uild a test modern deck that hit a storm of 13 of this on turn 2, so it is possible (then they banned ponder and preordain, but w/e)

Really too bad it's a sorcery... Prefer Krenko's Command. Goblin decks have to be fast so it's unlikely you'll be able to play a spell or two then this (even if they're Lightning Bolts

This card is referencing Goblin Warrens complete with a reference to the oft-quoted Fallen Empires-era tome, Sarpadian Empires, vol. VII (and volumes I-VI).
You can only play land cards once per turn unless you are playing mana rush. This isn't legal under standard rules.
He only played one land. How about actually reading the comment before you trash it.
