This is a powerful card. Sweeper effect and sacrifice effect would ensure you have creature in the aftermath. 2W for four creatures, easily splashable.

@ glunders: yes, all 4 promise's would trigger, causing you to get 16 spirit tokens into play. this is because its a triggered ability, and each trigger acts entirely independent of each other. they would go onto the stack at the same time and resolve one after the other.

Evoke creatures must love this card. It's a real good card too...from a really bad set. That's worth getting props alone.

@JoshMagic: No synergy with Teysa, Orzhov Scion. She needs action with strictly colored creatures. This makes colorless guys. Its so great with nantuko husk and sun titan, that I still play a black/white deck with it as the centerpiece. Its really cool with kami of false hope too.
