I was playing a game with someone else when I played this card on a creautre in a game happening right next to us.

If your opponent plays it on your creature, just lay your hand on it so he cant see it.

No, it's any game you can see from your seat. Not any creature.

funny how it has the same cmc as vindicate

★★★★☆ (4.7/5.0)(5 votes)
Well of course it's the same CMC as Vindicate. It trades versatility for cross-game interaction capabilities :D Incidentally, you'd be everyone's best friend if you pulled this back at the release event, I'm sure :P

So you have an Ass Whuppin' in hand. Good for you. But it could be even better:
Step 1: Cast Booster Tutor, opening a pack of Torment Step 2: Get Radiate in the rare slot. Step 3: ??? Step 4: PROFIT

I just don't understand the rules of this card lol. Its a Sorcery but totally plays like an instant and which stack does it even go into?

This might be a silly question, but can you use cards like Alter Reality to change silver to say... black?
Excuse me everyone, all of your permanents are destroyed.

You could play this, then cast Glamerdye, changing silver to black/white. That would be excellent.

Combo with wheeled chairs.

@Mr.Wimples It says "From your seat." However, a really high chair would get the job done.
I do love the Sleight of Mind idea. Play a casual game next to your friend playing in a tournament and see if the TO will let it fly, hehe. "But the rules say..."

Changing it to black-bordered permanent would only allow you to destroy black-borded permanents being used in Un-games, because a silver-bordered game can never interact with a normal game. Sorry.

@Mr.Wimples: That's when the one guy playing his Fourth-Edition theme deck laughs in his opponent's face. "WHOSE CARD BORDERS ARE UGLY NOW, HUH?"

@Mr. Wumples: Not good enough. I want to make everyone in the room lose their game. No matter which game they're playing. "Hey you guys, playing Scrabble? You all lost. Oh hey, 3.5 group? Excuse me? Your entire party just died. Yup. Sorry." Surely there must be a combo that can let me do that. Maybe in the next Un set?

Mark Rosewater (the Un-Rules Manager) explicitly confirmed that, in conjunction with Ass Whuppin', you're allowed to use (a) Skype, (b) hidden video cameras, (c) military-grade binoculars and/or (d) a navy-surplus periscope
I still can't believe Skype-sniping someone's B.F.M. is legal.
It says any game you can see from your seat, so if you play Enter the Dungeon you can sit up in your normal seat during the subgame and blow up permanents in the "regular" game during it.

Quick question. If I'm in the middle of a non-sanctioned game and use Research/Development's Research side to add Ass Whuppin' to my deck, would I have to be in an "Un" game to do so? I'm asking this because I'm not sure if Wish cards bother with checking legalities upon use.

Too bad the Un- sets were not very profitable, they made Magic fun again.
