I keep opening this when mini-mastering Unhinged for fun... think they want me to buy more boosters? ;)

What an awesome card. You can use it to get basic lands if you're short on them as well...

i don't understand the "revealing" of the cards. it's just like Diabolic Tutor, you're only allowed to use what is in that booster. they know where you got it. granted, if it said you had to find an elf in that booster, ok.

Used this with a Homelands pack once. Best choice i ever made

@applecorn: it's more fun if everybody can see what crazy stuff you opened.

It doesn't say that you have to buy the pack. No errata either. :D

The best moment of my magic career was when I cast this in response to a psychatog that would have killed me. I fetched an Homelands booster hoping for Force of Will... and I got it! I pitched a card and went for the win!

@TheHappyReaper: nice try, Force of Will came out in Alliances.

@applecorn: revealing the cards before choosing allows your opponents to know what you put in your hand

Lol on flavor text.

@gongshowninja: Applicable local laws are implicitly included into the game rules. Murdering your opponent is /not/ a valid action, for instance.

How will a Force of Will save you from a swinging Psychatog? Are you new to the game?

gromgrom:

I think the Psychatog was being cast...in which case, Force of Will would have worked.

If he wasn't opening a Homelands pack.

I see a problem with the part just before the flavor text: Remove that card from your deck before beginning a new game.

What if the card works so well I want to add it to my deck???

I have the DCI promo version of this card, that flavor text is far better.

Make your judgment wisely: The right pack will let you defeat your nemesis, but a poor choice can only end in torment. And Homelands.

This card is too expensive to use.

I saw someone crack an Arabian Nights pack (he had a box) he pulled Ali from Cairo, someone else bolted it a few turns later and then he died to a horde of squirels, but it was funny to see.

hmmm this looks like the kind of card any deck needs 4 of

There is actually 2 Neopet references in the shelves, if anyone is wondering. The polar bear and Raindeer lookalikes are almost direct copy-pastes. Look up Polarchuck and Raindorf for more info.

Then again, Wizards did do the TCG version of Neopets, so yeah.

@TheHappyRanger
no... I checked. No you didn't.

This one time like.. I cracked open a Fallen Empires booster. It sucked.

As you can tell from the above, if you're going to make up stories you should make them believable.

"Real men use Arabian Nights boosters."?
Nice try wizards, I'm not going to open a 600 buck booster

Pigfish99: There's also a D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) book on the far right of the card. Can't tell what kind but I believe its a Monster Manual because of the bronze circle on it (which is what is on the 3.5 Monster Manual)

Put this card on an isochron scepter, and bring your own booster box, or case for that matter.

This card has become a cube favourite in some parts. Tutoring from a new cube pack is powerful AND fun.

Promo Flavor text is better;

"Make your Judgement wisely, the right pack will let you defeat you Nemesis, but a poor choice can only end in Torment. And Homelands."

Hilarious card that can make a fun interesting situations, too bad I personally have never had the pleasure of playing with one.

with R&D's secret lair, you dont have to pay for the booster.

Should have Storm for the fanatic magic player.
