Hellions Are Real Cool And I Like How They Work In The Magic Realm And A Perfect Fit For Red Its Like Each Hellion Has Its Own Unique Wildfire Built Into It

Echo makes it a hard card to get into play and keep early game, but its ability makes up for that.

Echo almost balances this guy. Still, if you're gonna trick him in, you're doing it to sweep the board, not to get a 6/6.

Great creature with awesome artwork. He's on of my list of greatest creatures of all time.

Thick-Skinned Goblin can take the burn and free up his echo for the next turn, but you'll need seven mana open to play him and protect the goblin.

Also, the Hellion's art is superb.

Vigor, puts 4 +1/+1 counters on each creature you control and blows everything else up!

In casual cube, facing down a soon-to-be lethal Skaab Goliath, I held this and and one other card. Topdecked the Plains I needed, and cast the Hellion and ... Swift Justice!
I gained 20 life, paid the echo, then followed with my next spell: Deadeye Navigator, with 1Blue open. GG! :D

Make a deck full of red creatures with pro red already. Fun.

Strictly better than mizzium mortars' overload effect (but thanks to the non-overload effect, not strictly better than mizzium mortars).

EDIT: Whoops, missed echo. Still awesome though.

Not strictly better than Mizzium Mortars' overload- Mortars hits only your opponent's board.

Also, seeing a reprint in Duel Decks; Heros vs Monsters!
