This is such a strange card! Trample? 6/9? 9??? But I don't see the extra cost as being too steep. This looks like a great finisher for budget blue.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Now that brain that you gave me. Was it Hans Delbruck's?
Igor: No.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Ah! Very good. Would you mind telling me whose brain I DID put in?
Igor: Then you won't be angry?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby... Normal.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the name.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA?

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Is that what you're telling me?

As an additional cost to cast Skaab Goliath, giggle immaturely at its P/T.

Strange card. WotC usually gets those weird monsters high power and low toughness, probably to show how less it cares about itself. Actually, has there been a 6/9 before?

Play with Laughing Hyena.

Actually, that synergy is nonexistent. Blegh.

This is probably the funniest card that I've seen in magic, I just laughed and laughed when I opened it.

It was met with immediate concession the one time that it hit play on my side during the prerelease. Armored Skaab served as an efficient way to dump creatures into my graveyard.

6/9.

Aside from Innistrad cards that are variable-based (they gain toughness based on how many creatures are in the graveyard, etc.), I think this may very well be the toughest creature on the Plane.

powerful blue creatures are always good
and a blue zombie is always good
does that make this good good?

Thanks to Ghoulcaller's Chant, I hardcasted this twice in the same limited match. The two maindeck Forbidden Alchemies didn't hurt either.

Use him to back up your Undead Alchemist, get a couple of weenies when you attack with this guy, which you can likely do every turn, due to his high survivability.

Having trouble choosing between this and Rooftop Storm for your Zombie deck?

Why not both for the price of one? ;)

combo with P/T swapping cards like Merfolk Thaumaturgist for a nice budget finisher.

Strictly better than creatures with normal amounts of heads, arms, and armour grafts.

I love the reference to non-union scabs that they've put into the set: The creatures that are brought in after you've used up your original labor source. You actually can't turn to scabs until you've got some other laborers in your graveyard. Except for armored skaabs for some reason.

Use this with Rooftop Storm: The secondary cost isn't that much.

Blue almost never gets these powerful creatures. And on top of that it has trample. 5/5.

This card is bad people. At least in blue. Seriously, frost titan isn't played and is much better then this.

@ultratog1028

Frost Titan is no zombie, and there's no Giant tribal in limited. Also, I bet you could buy four Skaab Goliaths with the money you spend to buy one Frost Titan.

Not saying that Frost Titan is worse, just saying that it's not a good idea to compare a mythic to an uncommon.

I just realized there are humans in the card image dodging this monstrosity's punch through a brick pillar. If this grotesque freak of nature (nice work, Geralf) hits the battlefield, don't let it run loose.

Its power and toughness is funny because it is the Cancer Zodiac sign. Lulz.

Sorry for my immature laughter.

The first natural 6/9 in existence! Very solid investment, thanks again, Geralf!

I GET IT!!!!

You need to use some already dead people to stitch together this beast!
