What the hell is good with this card. You need tons of artifacts to make it's cc reasonable, and it also affects your opponent's artifacts?? I think this card sucks. You should just have some kind of crazy combo prepared for this...

Shiduba are you serious? It's hella easy to have at least 10 artifacts in play by turn 5 using cards from mirrodin block, and the fact that this card is an instant makes it even better.

It gets twice better the more artifacts you have: costs less for each artifact and untaps one more for each artifact.

Shiduba... imagine it in an affinity deck.
if you drop Ornithopters and artifact lands, you will have enough artifacts in no time. Like, by turn one, you could have 3-4 artifacts on the field, depending on your opening hand.

Yes, too expensive... unless you play an artifact deck.
Too expensive for its effect even accounting for affinity. Combos well with stuff like Erratic Explosion though thanks to its ridiculous CMC.

Hey look, and overcosted Time Walk for artifact decks with affinity for artifacts! I wonder if its good?
.. no, really, this card is really good in the right artifact deck. It might not be tournament staple or anything, but I've seen people do pretty crazy things with these in casual.

Minimal effect for the CMC, but still great in an artifact deck.

Inkwell Leviathan, umm, could you stop that little worm that's crawling around?

White has similar effects for untapping all creatures for 2 mana so I feel this is relatively fair to untap all artifacts for 2 mana.

An ability that's begging for abuse... but it never really got used, did it?
For one thing, it was much too slow for affinity....

Wouldn't be good if not for artifact lands. It kinda feels like Wizards knew by this point how broken affinity was.
Giving into account that, in Mirrodin block, you could almost always empty your hand in an affinity deck, and your whole hand would be artifacts (artifact lands), and affinity had draw spells, etc.
The 12 artifacts to replace the mana cost isn't fictional, let alone impossible.
Sure, for an affinity deck, this card's pretty slow,
However, it is in the realm of possibility, and a substantial bomb if you've got the right artifacts to abuse it.

Compare this card to Turnabout which gives you the choice of untapping or tapping a type of permanent and only cost 4 mana. 1 star.

This is easily a turn 4 card in a right Affinity deck... and thats the reason I don't do Affinity xD

I don't see what's so great about this.

Sure, an affinity deck could probably cast it turn 5 or so... But by that point, wouldn't an affinity deck have already won anyway, or be very close to it?
It's always weird to see a two-digit number in a single colorless mana cost bubble.

I wonder why untapping everything is worth more CC then Broodstar? I think its because this is fifth dawn, and they didnt want to break affinity even more.
In theory, it's certainly interesting, and the cost should be high, but in practice the cost has just proven to be a bit too high, even in an artifact-based deck, to be of practical use.

As we can see, affinity was really nerfed by this point in the block. Too bad it was much too late, and standard/magic had already been ruined forever. Being a bit dramatic, but affinity does fall under "ungentlemanly magic."
These deck types are rightly stigmatized for their immense power, flawed design and utter lack of strategy. Feel free to add on to my ever expanding list.

Turn One: Swamp
Turn Two: Island, Glimpse the Unthinkable targeting self.
Turn Three: Mountain, Noxious Revival paying two life targeting Blinkmoth Infusion in graveyard to top of library. Tap three lands, Erratic Explosion for fourteen.

Inkwell Leviathan doesn't have flying. You would be better off blocking with a Draco.
Anyway, good card for an artifact deck.

Nice.
"Hmm, Affinity is a pretty strong strategy and I cou.. nah, I'll just pay R and chuck this huge spell at someone's face."
