WAM!

Hehe...not the best card, but very fun! Especially if you can turn him face-down again with a card like Backslide!

Considerably worse than eater of days

Compared to Exalted Angel, i don't quite get why skipping an entire turn was necessary:
Exalted Angel can be cast for 5WhiteWhite throughout two turns, she can notably even already see the light of day on turn four and stays a 4/5 flyer with oldschool lifelink permanently.
For Unstable Hulk's trigger you have to pay 6RedRed in total throughout two turns, which rewards you with an 8/8 trampler the turn (likely the fifth one) you pay the remaining cost, and a 2/2 creature on each precedant turn (as you used to have before).

Unstable Hulk is a good card because it gives you the tools to bash through an unsuspecting opponent's defenses. Turn him face up after the blockers have been declared, and watch him trample through blocking creatures, usually inflicting a good deal of damage on your opponent.

Use with Chromeshell Crab and Break Open or Ixidor, Reality Sculptor. Give them a morphed down creature in exchange for something better, flip the Unstable Hulk up on your turn, and make them lose a turn. You could probably make it a repeating effect with other effects that turn a creature with morph face down.

Outside of that admittedly ideal situation, I wouldn't use it. I don't think it'll be worth losing a turn for, most of the time.

Among the many cards in my red deck this card has given me a few wins when equiped with a Grafted Exoskeleton. (my deck uses 4 of those and a happy Spikeshot family among some other stuff)

Usually get that combo sooner with the help of my trusted Seething Song and maybe a Simian Spirit Guide.

Ofc if you are using red + black you could use Phyresis or more effectively for surprise, the rather overpowered Tainted Strike. Hell, I probably would if I had those.

If you ever use this guy you better do so when he's going to get through enough damage so that you won't have a next turn to skip in the first place.

I think he's supposed to be good because he can be a game ender or just another goblin. You can cast him for {R}{R} with chieftain in play as a vanilla 2/2, or he becomes akin to that finishing Lava axe.
Comparing him to Exalted angel like that isn't really fair. Lifelinking efficient flying creatures are a dime a dozen in White. Red has to make do with a bunch of angry idiots.

Very game-ending with Blazing Shoal, just pray that the opponent doesn't have Holy Day.

Looks like he's wielding a Hammer of Bogardan.
