I seriously can't quite remember her being called the best card in Legions by many, given that this set also includes Akroma, Angel of Wrath for instance.

Although i agree that this is a pretty neat card.
Having flash, this is an awesome response to board hosers.
And in general it's also a cheap choice to get two or more 2/2 bodies for just 2Green after combat.
Yet i'd preferably play her with an ensured use given by having something to get rid of your creatures.
Permanents that can sacrifice creatures like the aforementioned Nantuko Husk are useful.
Even better if they return another creature like Apprentice Necromancer, Doomed Necromancer or Hell's Caretaker.
If you return another dead Caller of the Claw and produce further tokens.
Therefore Second Sunrise might also be a good choice.

Bouncing it with Wirewood Symbiote might also indeed be a good idea, especially if you have another creature with a handy Tap-ability. To make better use of her a second time (since most of your creatures will be 2/2 bear tokens then which won't trigger her ability) i'd consider playing something like Bloodghast or Nether Traitor.

You could also use Order of Whiteclay, which can return any creature with cmc 3 or less, including Caller of the Claw. The downside is that he requires to be tapped and needs much white mana.
Recurring Nightmare is an even greater variant, which effectively allows triggering any of your creature's cip trigger for 2Black by saccing it and returning it again - as often as you wish.

Yeah pretty neat card. Another good use for her is on the sideboard for a mono-green elf deck. This is an elf deck's best (and almost only) defense against board hosers (pyroclasm, wog, damnation, etc), which otherwise can set you back several turns or make you lose the game.

Many consider her the best card in Legions and rightly so. There is nothing like your opponent's face after he plays wrath of god or something only to end up staring down a whole mess of bears.

She also makes an insane combo with nantuko husk and other sac creatures, especially when she goes back to your hand with wirewood symbiote.

*Whoops, i meant to say the best green card in legions, my mistake.

Quite possibly my favorite card. The artwork and flavor rock; if you're a green mage, you gotta love an elf lady dressed as a bear leading a gang of eerie bears, all of whom are ***ed off about creature destruction. and turning your opponents mass removal into an ursine plague wind is awesome. Who cares if your tech creatures just turned into regular 2/2 bears when they're the only things on the board and are ready to smash face. Green needs things to hose mass removal and this may be the best card for it.

Even using it as simply an ashcoat bear for 3 can be useful at times. I once threw it out onto the battlefield to team up with my llanowar elves and block ob nixilis who had not gotten bigger yet. If I hadn't done that, I probably would have lost.

You can even combo caller with your own creature kabooms and sacrifices if you don't think she's relevant enough.

Bear revenge with attached 2/2, 3 mana and instant speed!
Use when people attempt to clear your board, or when you sac it for stuff like Goblin Bombardment and such
