Unfortunately, Blue doesn't seem to have many sorcerys in Nyx. You'll have to wait a while to get that 2-4-1.

Whenever people think of EDH cards, they normally don't think of cards like this. But this is really good in that environment.

Come now wizards. I read the first half of this and the Johnny in me soared. Infinite Kruphix mana - plus some sort of mana filter - infinite elementals with young pyromancer . . . and then bam- I read the last line.

Would it actually be that broken to let the Johnnies be happy?

Would've been so much better at Instant speed. As it is, it's barely playable in limited, let alone standard and beyond (unless you're running a deck based around Hypersonic Dragon).

This card is really cool, compared to Archaeomancer in most cases it's better to have another card in hand rather than a 1/2 body. True, there are not many good sorceries for monoblue in standard, but that doesn't means other colors can't make good use of this.
