Strictly better than Relearn due to being one {U} less.

@nammertime

Funny how Relearn has such a higher score.

Can work well with Dreamborn Muse. Makes a black/blue grave feeder deck seem very interesting.

Relearn? Déjà Vu? Sage's Knowledge?
Forget about them :D

(I think this card is currently (see date of submission) pretty underrated - 2.5/5? Come on...
Yeah, it's still three mana and not a gamebreaker, but this can become handy in the lategame.)

With Leyline of Anticipation this is much better imo. Though I'm getting tired of thinking that when I look at every blue card in the set :(

Try both, Gruntz, and see which you like more. You could even run both, if you wanted.
I really like this. Especially with Anticipation. But every card is good with Anticipation.

Does the lack of a period at the end of the quote bug anyone else?
Wow, another stupid M11 card that spits in the face of its predecessor (Relearn).

Seriously considering putting 4 of these in my UB gravefeeder deck. However also considering 4 Countersquall... dammit

I have alot of fun with this card in M11 draft. It's a late pick, and practically filler, but it's definitely solid. In the blue/black mill/discard/control decks that dominate M11 drafting, this could be another tome scour, any number of counterspells and possibly even a second traumatize.

Who is this Evo Ragus? And Why is he/she on the flavor text of this rather nice card?

Should have been a red card. Blue would rather search for another copy than returning a card from a graveyard.

<3 m10 and m11 in the same standard is the best thing ever. infinite combo with Time warp and pyromancer Ascension.

Cheza, you seem to think lot's of blue cards should be red. Maybe you should actually make a blue deck instead of bitching about good blue cards.

@ Guntz1092 I agree with " UltimaCenturion" try both. And keep them both

I dont think people realize how good this is. You can return restricted cards in vintage like balance, tinker, ect for multiple uses.

Beautiful in both function and form. Well designed. Bravo, Wizards. It's not game-breaking, nor underpowered, and it does what it's supposed to do, The game needs more cards like this. The art's fantastic, too. Leave it in the core set.

sort of like a blue back to nature but worse

This is just a better card than Nature's Spiral. Instants and Sorceries are more game-changing than most permanents*.

*Unless those permanents end in Titan.

if you don't have a background in the illustrious world of copy editing, you might not have noticed it at first: The flavor text is missing a period at the end..

This card essentially allows you to use less playsets of instants/sorceries, in exchange for a wider variety of cards. It works really well in control decks. Although this card is rather all-around useful. 4/5

Can I Twincast this to return it to my hand? Would it be stupid to do so?
raptorman333

I need a 2 mana cost card that does the same if not similar result targeting at least instants.

Guntz, I would say this is better. If you're playing with enough instants and sorceries, which you should in and inst/sorc deck, you're going to want to be able to pick and choose what you get.

On the other hand, I have a bad habit of underestimating card advantage. Surreal memoir's rebound really makes it- play it when you have only two inst/sorces in the graveyard it's much better than this and even without, a well build deck shouldn't have any card you don't really want.

hmm, I'm starting to convince myself otherwise. I guess the best plan is to play both.
