This is such a fun card, when i got four of these out at once my friend was like wth am i supposed to do now. Great way to burn his mana and if he dosn't you got buff creatures, this works best in decks that you have way more creatures than your oppent(s).

Wow. This card is garbage. That's really all I got.

Best in a deck using mostly first strike creatures, I'm thinking.

If the game goes on for any length of time you'll be looking at some pretty powerful creatures for a small initial investment. Throw it into a casual deck full of token spamming and first strikers for best results.

This card is just pure joy for a Johnny. So many possibilities, especially because it only boosts POWER, not toughness. You can use it with something like Powerstone Minefield or Caltrops, along with Indestructible or "protection from" creatures, to keep your opponent's creatures unable to attack while yours maraud at will. Combos well with things like Spikeshot Elder. Attack with a Stuffy Doll and watch your opponent's head explode.

Another interesting aspect of this card is that it very specifically uses "time counters", i.e. the same counters used for suspended cards. This provides some very fun interactions with cards like Jhoira's Timebug or (even better) Timecrafting. With an Infinite Hourglass out, Timecrafting basically reads "all creatures get +X/+0".

Finally, it's a great "political" card in multiplayer games. People may help keep you alive just because their Ornithopter comes out as a 7/2 for Zero mana.

EDIT: Fun question: what happens if you use Jhoira of the Ghitu to suspend the card? Does it affect creatures while suspended? I wouldn't think so, and yet cards like Pardic Dragon have text which works while suspended.

Better img on this printing but adem rex could have made it black insterd of white to lessen the impact of the coreset border.

@yyukichigai : Sorry but text would have to read "while this card is suspended" so no go.

Could be used as a creature based finisher in a deck which gets infinite mana, I suppose. But even then there are much better options.
