So glad this card keeps getting reprinted along with Eternal Witness as both have a ton of utility. Would have loved a new art after all of this cool Golgari art direction in RTR block.

The card that taught me how dredge works. I first thought it wasn't good, and boy how wrong I was. 5/5

Someone needs to make a Selesnya UrzaTron deck with this and Knight of the Reliquary.

This is what a one card engine looks like.

I am building a modern Dredge deck with this, Worm Harvest, Raven's Crime, and Lotleth Troll. Toss in some Dredge guys and VOILA! Modern on a budget. Down with netdeckers!

Think about it like this. For 1Green you can get a naturalize, or you can get a total powerhouse.

Edge of Autumn and some cycle lands.

I think this might be my favorite card. Such subtle power and versatility. It seems like there's always another use for this card you haven't thought of.

Also, an excellent to tutor target for Gamble.

In casual, this is what makes dredge work; because otherwise you're getting garbage creatures at a mediocre price while not drawing lands.

In legacy it's a combo or control engine; and very good at it's job; either being a one-sided (and slow) armageddon, ensuring a punishing fire or pox manabase is stable.

Works especially well in weird decks such as Stormbind, seismic assault, or just next to Liliana of the Veil..
