Really good land, with which you can also draw. Not bad at all!

Funny how this is rated lower than Brushland..
In exchange for the 1 ability, you get to draw cards. Painlands that can draw cards. Sheer awesomeness.

Other than drawing another one card how about replacing this card with a card that would have been drawn. Much cheaper that way. Pain lands only make little difference in late games. I only love rare lands for their arts.

How is this even good? What the hell kills instantly? How? Seems just like a meh land.

This is one of the most awesome pieces of art in the history of Magic, and all the better when the flavor text is factored in.

Easily my favorite land. Part of an instant win combo in my "Killing Gentleman" deck, which hasn't lost a game in some fifty matches. And Omenchild, believe me, it may not be an instant kill, but once the cogs are together, there's nothing the opponent can do. Don't doubt this card. Recurring uncounterable draw power should never be dismissed as "meh".

How do people think this is bad? It's a land that turns into a card if you don't need it. If you have something like crucible of worlds or life from the loam it can provide a slow but recurring and uncounterable card draw.
G/W definitely got at worst the second best out of the cycle of future-sight dual lands (first may be grove of the burnwillows, but that's only good if you run punishing fire, while this fits into nearly any G/W deck).

Fetching it with Knight of the Reliquary to draw a card and boost him even more is amazing.

One of the best dual lands ever; it's hard not to get strictly obsoleted by the Alpha duals, but this thing manages to carve its own little niche. Comes in untapped, stays relevant, and works for cheap.

Noobs Cant Touch This. Such A Great Card Run It With Crucible

If anyone thinks this card is bad, they haven't seen it used with Crucible of Worlds and Zuran Orb for an infinite draw engine, which lets you draw until you get your win condition.
Edit: Forgot to mention Fastbond in that combo above...kinda a key ingredient...anyway, infinite life, infinite mana, infinite card draw all possible on turn 1 when you're really lucky...who doesn't like that?

Michael Komark is one of the most talented artists in MTG. Bravo Michael, bravo.
I always see this art wrong; to me, it at first looks like the leaf is at ground level, and is GIANT. "What if I told you we were all living on a giant leaf?"
Truth about this card is that I'd rather play a Brushland most of the time, since I can get a colorless without any drawback. Still, it gets you an extra card late-game which isn't exactly a terrible ability.
On the other hand this work great with Crucible Of The World and Knight Of The Reliquary . So in his little niche metagame, its the only thing thats can fit that role, which explains its quite pricy nowaday with KOTR popularity.

Perfect magic card. Great art, ability and balance. Only thing I don't like is the $10 price tag and utter elusiveness. Well, I suppose it's something of a modern staple.

This is a land that enters the battlefield untapped, taps for two different colors of mana, and can generate card advantage while still being a decent top deck mid and late game. This land is good and is one of my favorite cards in the game.

@patronofthesound: I hope you got yours at 10$, because the pricetag is now 30$...
