love the flavor text. Decent limited card. Especially with extort triggers. =p

I really love how many griefer enchantments black is getting this set. These, One Thousand Lashes, and Contaminated Ground make for a fairly rapidly depleting life total. Throw in Sphere of Safety and some extort, you've got a deck.
There's a rather large number of the Mono-Colored cards in this set I wouldn't mind seeing in a future Core Set :) I mean they aren't the most jaw-dropping cards ever, but Core Set Limited I feel could be fun with most of them.

Bad in each and every format. It combines the disadvantages of an aura with a soft lock on a creature that an opponent can choose to ignore or not.
When do you need to stop an opponents creature the most? When it's about to kill you. When does your opponent not care about getting shocked? When he's about to win anyway.
On small creatures it works like a temporary removal spell under control of your opponent. On large creatures, it works as some form of direct damage, under control of your opponent. On utility creatures, it doesn't work at all.

What's that? You think you're all clever and all with you creature with vigilance? You think attacking and blocking with the same creature is something to be proud of?
I think something sinister is about to befall it...

One mana for a soft lock in an Orzhov or Rakdos deck?
That's potentially a lot of damage right there.

This is what you get when you pay 1 mana for Pacifism and try to make if black.

I put this on a Riot Piker at the prerelease and blocked it with a wall every turn. That seems like the niche for this card - also turns Wind Drake into a suicide clock, (Which also won me a game, to my opponent's misfortune.)

This card is perfect against zombie decks, aggro decks, and you can put more than one on the same creature for decks that have the larger critters.

I can't be the only one who sees a resemblance to He-Man, can I?

This card won me the semifinal at the Prerelease — put this on their Woodlot Crawler when my opponent and I were both at 2 life. In non-topdeck situations, though, it's probably a bit less good.

Man, this is an awesome card, quite versatile for only one .
Use this against Unquestioned Authority and watch your opponent struggle with decisions.

combine this with contaminated ground and just let your opponent shock themselves to death. also great way to build up devotion in theros block..

I see mass potential for two of these in a deck going against mono-black and that growing-in-popularity Sptieful Returned. It reduces that card to nothing. Agree or disagree?
