@Taudisban My thoughts exactly. There were a lot of things missing from this set. (Gruul, of all guilds, didn't get a single uncounterable card in the entire block.)

Not a fan of green, huh?

I don't think wizards would like to risk another truly unblockable creature since Invisible Stalker ruined lives. He's no Delver but he's still WRONG.
Now, the question with this guy is: do you evade, or block?

combo's with Trait Doctoring ! I cant wait to unleash that killer combo at the pre-release. They'll never see it coming.

Looks like a nice sideboard card to me.

@ddemons Yah! Someone else noticed it too! Maybe not tournament-worthy, but still something fun to pull off in casual or limited.

God, even the Dimir centipedes looks like they're planning something. There's just something about the stumpy little legs clutched together in glee that makes me think he's an experiment gone wrong in Dexter's Lab.

I really wish they had given this guy Vigilance then he would be a bane in Thragtusk's side all day long. Being able to hit them for 2 and then safely block and not kill Thragtusk is excellent in my book. But for now its a good card for an uncommon. I just think if it was Rare it would be a perfect counter to Skylasher they are both insects but serve two completely different guilds.
I would love to see more mirrored cards like this. So far White and Black are usually the ones who get mirror image cards ie White Knight and Black Knight but if they start to give Blue and Green, White and Red, then the players and visually see how enemy colors interact with one another. Creatures are the best way of seeing it, Spells are secondary.

Very solid uncommon.

@ddemons Unfortunately, i believe Trait Doctoring is even worse than you think. It will only get this guy through once, since he has to hit them in order to reapply the effect that would give him forestwalk.

Deceptively good. With all the multicolored creatures and dual lands in the block chances are this guy will have either evasion or protection from some of the creatures your opponent is running, and at 2 mana this means he'll get at least a few swings in early game. Definitely a high pick for me in draft, this little bugger has won me a couple games.

Somewhat...counter productive, in all honestly. While it makes for a good, if niche, cipher carrier, but both Golgari (green) and Simic (green) just can't do anything to make it bigger, and that's what they're all about.
Ignoring that, this...isn't very Dimir. Like, at all. Dimir never really uses bugs, they're more for the eldritch, unknowable horrors.
Consider it can kill satan and crawl away. I'm not sure how to deal with the token either.

This guy has ended up in my Grixis Control sideboard. The deck had trouble with aggro, particularly Grull or Selesnya aggro. Three of these in the sideboard fixed things up.

Holy sideboard batman! I sideboard a few of these in my dimir mill deck.

So cute and functional.
There should have been more guild collaborations/arms races like this one.
And the more recent Zombie Outlander.
