I love that the fused version of this can either be used to make mincemeat of your opponent's forces or ensure that your big guy get's to hit the opponent's face twice.

Armed by itself is playable. Just think of Dangerous as being a little bonus.

Armed is definitely designed to end games by itself. Fuse this and you can wipe your opponent's board.

Armed is kinda aggressively costed (for a split card) while dangerous is definitely overcosted. Overall it's a good card.

Armed is definitely impressive.
Dangerous is overcosted, but that's the case for most of the half-card modes because of the fact that you can fuse them, and the option is also nice.
Just thinking of casting both on a big creature is so evil :D
Love it

I love how this is combotastic when you choose the same target and when you don't.

It's fine in limited, but I doubt it's good outside of it. Giving double strike for two mana is great, but at sorcery speed it loses a lot of it's power. Combining both for six is also a bit much, for something that is sometimes or not a one-sided wrath or just hot air.

use Dangerous on one creature, and Armed on the creature slamming face for free :) 4/5

This card is the reason I went 4-0 at the prelease. In the last game, this + Korozda Gorgon= 5 dead blockers (and a still-living Gorgon). Varolz shows up next turn to scavenge Ruric Thar for the win.

Destroyed at the prerelease with this card. I usually attacked with an otherwise underwhelming creature, such as armored transport, letting them spend 5 minutes deciding whether to lose their only blocker or take the 6 damage. Nearly everyone took the 6, which quickly became closer to 15-18 thanks to a little bloodrush. Never played Dangerous, but whatever, who needs it?

The Lure effect on Dangerous is mostly useless against some decks, yet also has the potential to have a huge impact.
Now what makes this great is the fact that it's the other half of Armed, which solves that problem because Armed should basically always find use in the right deck.

I'd say this is one of the split card where both halves are not overcosted and playable by themselves seperately - yet become even greater when combined.
In that case, it either becomes a game-ender if you target Armed on your strongest unblocked creature right away, or you can use both halves on one creature and potentially succeed in a one-sided board wipe, which should help you win the game in the subsequent turns.

Great card, no matter if you decide to spend 1Red, 3Green or 4RedGreen on it.

The fact that you can target to separate creatures makes this absolutely insane.

"Yeah, I'll have you all block my Burning-Tree Emissary while my double-striking Ruric Thar bashes you in the face. Also, Bloodrush this Rubblebelt Maaka"

In RUB deck wth a fluxcharger, make him a 6/2 double striker and dangerous a 1/1 to basically annihalate your opponent.

Let's not forget that Double-Strike inherently contains the speed of First Strike.

Dropping both sides of this card on your deathtoucher could very well be a board wipe for your opponent.

Balanced and well-costed, finding a million different uses in a million different decks.

I love being able to use it on two different creatures, then when you get doom bladed it's not necessarily a 2 for 1, you get something out of it.

I'm going to try and splash this into my W/R heroic deck. Armed is always useful and the occasional dangerous would help in mirror matches. Plus a fuse would trigger two heroics and allow a Dangerous Phalanx Leader to boost all the creatures. Just need to swap some Plains for Temple of Plenty.

I've killed opponents so many times with this in EDH. With Borborygmos as commander and one other creature to serve as bait, hit the opponent for 15 commander damage! And that's without counting any other boosts he may have.

@sonserf369

True that sounds nice but I believe that if you did that you would be dealing yourself 12 damage (because of Rhuric Thar's "ability"). So it is probably not a good idea. A good thing to do (if you have 7 mana open) is to give a creature like Polukranos the Armed and then give anyother creature the Dangerous and then bloodrush a Wasteland Viper on that creature. That's a good turn (hard to pull off though).
