I kinda wanna pet the cat. Something tells me I might get my face shredded to pieces, yeah, but a solid cheap buff attached to this guy make him too darn lovable!

When the one drop Red bloodrush card is better then the one drop Green bloodrush (Slaughterhorn), you know somebody wants bloodrush to see standard play AND THEY AREN'T TAKING NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Not really better than Slaughterhorn. For one, I can see myself actually playing Slaughterhorn as a creature.

It's actually a Hill Giant Growth. See what I did there?
Slaughterhorn might be slightly better, but it's good to know that I can go monored with this one.

I love the card, but I'm not big on obsoleting cards I love.

So. Nobody's said it yet? OK, I will.

Slaughter horn is better because it has the same power and comes out a turn earlier. The only "slightly better" part of this card is because it's in red.

I'm really happy about this card. Think of it as a combat-only Brute Force that you can Disentomb and you're along the right track. As an added plus it's a reasonably big creature for a reasonable cost if you absolutely need that.
It's got versatility, and it's not versatility that forces you to pay through the nose - and this is on a common! I can't imagine myself being unhappy to open this.

Personally, I really like Hill GIants in limited. I found this to be an extremely versatile attacker, blocker, and combat trick. Every red deck at my prerelease seemed to have a copy.

A nearly-uncounterable Brute Force that can also be a Hill Giant if you reeeeaaaally need it. Awesome in Limited, very playable in Pauper.

Not a stand-out card of its mechanic, but surely a limited workhorse. It's cards like these that form the backbone of a fine deck. I like him, These mountain giants are fine in my casual group.

You guys are forgetting that it's not just an attacking brute force stapled to a hill giant, it's a mostly uncounterable attacking brute force stapled to a hill giant that dodges inquisition of kozilek.

One pair of eyes for each point of power and toughness. Then again, i'm still not entirely sure if there are in fact three pairs of eyes - looking at the artwork of this card is almost as confusing as looking at the artwork of Forsee.
