Face-Up abilities aren't the point here. Getting a fourth-turn quicksilver dragon, imperial hellkite, krosan colossus or Akroma, angel of fury into play is what this thing is made for.

All these fat morph creatures will actually be swinging on turn four if you flip the dermoplasm with skirk alarmist on turn three, and you don't even have to sac it because it bounces.

I always love when I can get cards that the expansion symbols are based on. Equip this with a Sword of Kaldra for big bonus points.
