I would try to state the upsides of this card's play, but I don't think I'd anywhere near stack up to the beautiful simplicity of ttian's cvomment.

@Kryptnyt
Can only imprint instants. Read before you write.

Aww. yeah that doesn't work, Use savage beating then.
To redeem myself, use this with Radiate and Vigilance creatures for some fun. Lots of attack steps.

Better than Salvage Beating IMO, mainly because it's cheaper and reusable, and let's be honest: the double strike on that card is kinda overkill.

Combined with Finest Hour, a 2/2 flier can get through for a total of 13 damage.

@ marmaris - Won't work...this doesn't target, so no go.

Nature's Will

Use cards that turns your lands into creatures and keep swinging. You will want cards that let you pump out lands and an overrun effect.

Seems really good to me. It is nice, simple, worthwhile and RED. This card to me, seems perfect.

Attack with fatty. Seize the Day, do it again. Flashback for extra fun.

This was one of my first cards, and I loved it so much. It won me so many games, giving me the killing blow out of nowhere.

guys, keep in mind that this combos beautifully with exalted, as the exalted bonuses stack with themselves
E.G. You have an invisible stalker, a akrasan squire a rafiq of the many, and a noble hierarch. Your first attack, your invisible stalker gets +3/+3 and double strike, making it a 4/4 dub strike...
the next turn your invisible stalker attacks, it will get an additional +3/+3, making it a 7/7 dub strike
take 22 damage with one spell? yes, please!

*cough cough* Ink-treader Nephilim *cough cough*

Edit: Of course, you'd need a way to untap all your creatures for each combat phase, so you might want to first get out a Serra's Blessing.

Interesting to compare this to Aggravated Assault, both similar types of cards but with different tempos.

I think I might prefer this for the surprise element and cheaper casting cost

THE flashback card. I have hurled and received many abuses courtesy of this card in RG decks.

Best art in a red card. Usually you expect to find Greg Staples art in something fluffly like Serra Angel or Archangel of Strife, but this shows he can do extra-manly dudes carrying a bunch of bloodied weapons and looking badass in front of an explosion just as well.
Also, most Voltron decks in EDH should want this. 3 combat phases in 1 turn? Hell yes.

Thumbs up if you also say the name of this card in a voice similar to the Avenged Sevenfold song of the same name =)

It's a real pity that red is the only colour without Exalted.

Oh man I need this card. Perfect for any red (+ other colours) voltron EDH deck. Multiple swings with my commander? Yes please.

Precursor Golem gives you a lot for your buck.

If you give this card flash with something like Vedalken Orrery, you can cast it during another player's main phase to give them an additional combat step.

Why? Hell if I know, but you can.
