Great, Orzhov doesn't let death stopping them from collecting debt. Don't get a loan from them :(

Considering all the grave related cards in RtR I can see it justified in limited... Oh, wait...

I'm a pro so I often times mainboard graveyard hate. Not only can this stop scavenge and flashback but you can also draw a card which is icing on the cake.

Deck thinning for 1. I'll take 4.
Oh! I get to exile a card in a graveyard too??? Awww thanks wotc.
What, you thought after Innistrad block and Flashback we were going to do Scavenge with JUST Grafdigger's Cage and Tormod's Crypt in Standard? We're watching you. @.@ Never trust you again after that Manaless BS last time we went to Ravnica. We're Watching. @.@

Garbage, garbage, garbage. Don't play this card, seriously. Just don't do it.

If you're planning to hate on creature reanimation in aggro, consider Vile Rebirth instead. This card definitely has its uses, though, especially given that it hoses Snapcaster Mages by exiling their attempted target, without costing you a card.

It does stop scavenge, but only if you can do it before they scavenge. Exiling the card is part of scavenge's cost, so you can't stop it on the stack. I bet a lot of people will learn that the hard way at the prerelease.

Perfectly attuned to the flavor of the Orzhov- Inspite of whatever set the guild is set in, its presence is felt and feared by all, and no debt is to great to collect.

I really hope flavor text means that Orzhov mechanic will do something with exiled cards. Oh please, yes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you should be able to use this on a creature with undying or persist once it hits the graveyard

Nice. A black version of Purify the Grave (I know Cremate came first, yes yes). No Flashback, but it has a cantrip attached so the card advantage is even.
Sideboard a few of these to deal with the pesky Gravecrawler and Rancor, the latter of which I expect to see much more of in B/G Zombies (Gravecrawler is a given).

The only non-land card to be reprinted from the original Ravnica Block but even then it was a repeat. Don't expect many other reprints in Gatecrash.

@eternal_blue: Looks like somebody plays with unburial rights, because that's what this hoses. Along with every card with flashback ever.

3/5. Great against scavenge and flashback and it provides a replacement.

I know this is a reprint and we aren't in time spiral anymore, but this card would be rockin with split second
As good as the flavour text is, I actually prefer the original one from the Guildpact version of this card: “Cremation of the dead is not a religious ritual in Ravnica. It's a business designed to keep the Golgari from growing in numbers.”

I maindeck two to three of these every time I build mono black tempo. One mana cantrips are solid and it is rare these days that people don't use their GY in some fashion.
