Slowly getting closer to usable griffins. Not bad.

Obligatory Griffin slot... Filled quite well I must say

Could be dangerous in limited for sure. There are ways for white to get a lot of creatures into play at once, both complementing a white weenie strategy while buffing this guy up to deal respectable damage each turn.

Oh this is crazy dangerous. Captain's call and swing for five and get to keep the tokens too.

Goldnight Commander costs the same, is only uncommon, and gives the bonus to all of your creatures. How is this exciting?

@Lordbubbles: Because this is a common. And nutsy in limited. Oh yeah and it has EVASION which is pretty damn relevant.
This card is absolutely amazing in limited.

This guy combos nicely with mass token producers and can get out of hand fast. Trust me, I know because I am a pro.

Well, here's something delightfully unexpected. Yeah, it's a watered down Goldnight Commander, but the added buff and evasion ability along with the reduced rarity make it a reasonably fair trade. MORE than a fair trade in limited or sealed deck for sure.
Now token creatures are an obvious choice for this, but interestingly this compliments the Griffin tribal (such as it is) pretty well. The two that spring to mind are Mtenda Griffin and Mistmoon Griffin, which can put you in a situation where 2-4 non-token Griffins come into play during your turn. Yeah, that's not going to win you any tournaments, but for a theme deck it meshes pretty well.
I'll be keeping my eye out for these in any M13 packs I pick up.
Is this basically my pauper deck? Why yes, yes it is.

I'd consider this a strong finisher for 4-mana. Take any number of 2-3 token dropping cards (some even at instant speed) and this guy becomes quite dangerous as a mana efficient flyer! For common and for 4 mana, this is *quite* good.
