For those of you who don't think powercreep is real, check out Vampire Nighthawk.

Vampire Nighthawk is not an example of power creep compared to Python. Python is common and Vampire Nighthawk is uncommon.

Barony Vampire, Moriok Reaver, Warpath Ghoul, Bog Raiders, and Contagious Nim are some examples of power creep compared to Python.

Many of Python's contemporary cards in the 3 mana black slot were significantly better than it as well, and cards that predate it like Lim-Dûl's High Guard are better as well.

Bottom line, using Python as a point of comparison for modern power creep isn't fair, Python has always been terrible.
