Probably the most straightforward and best of the ally-color creatures in M13. A 2/2 for 1Green with the opportunity to be a 3/3, and the chance to attack straight away if you have a spare Red? Very aggro, and the art is suitably feral.

A better boggart ram-gang. Mother of god.

To elaborate on Trygon Predator's point, if you're playing RG, and the RNG doesn't hate you, this is essentially Centaur Courser with free haste.

Sadly, the wildfire didn't work. Obtaining our bacon will be much harder today.

Such a lack of cheap beasts.

This and Mogg Flunkies, both 3/3 for 2cmc in a red-green m13 deck, that's nice!

@metalevolence: How do you figure? It loses wither and isn't a goblin.

Awesome, bacon that fries itself.

3 mana for a 3/3 with haste in a R/G deck? Very strong card, IMO.

Such an efficient beater for RG. This piggie is vicious.

I wouldn't use it in my main deck, but I really do like it.
Still waiting on that Green 1/1 "gets +2/+1 as long as you control a mountain." Kird Ape sibling, though. A guy can dream.

I am a pro and will probably use this fantastic card in my G/R Aggro deck.

The internal design and flavor of this card is just perfect. It's a boar, in the forest, so it's Green. But if you start a fire in that forest with Red the boar runs twice as fast, thus haste.

Masterpiece.

I have won multiple Top 4's at my local FNM on this guys back.

Rancor is in 2013. Forgo haste and you've got the potential for a 5/3 with trample on turn three.

I've never liked paying mana to get haste, since I could have just cast the creature a turn earlier for the same effect. Still, the potential for a 3/3 for 2 is nice.

Ummm guys?
No, this is a Watchwolf that has some flexibility to be a Centaur Courser with haste if your mana curve demands it.

Rancor supports this angry pig very well.

Yeah turn 2 drop some Burning-Tree Emissaries and the Boar to finish it off. I like that play.

Play with R&D's Secret Lair to attack during your opponent's turn.

Simply BOSS. Massive impact in F/M Buring-Tree Emissary Decks.

The thing that is so good about this card right now is it is pretty flexible. A 3/3 on turn two or a 3/3 with haste turn three is pretty significant as with aggro you can't have poop hands and expect to win (unless you like touching people with poop hands, ewwwww!). Basically can fill the slot of Call of the conclave, and Dreg Mangler. With easier casting cost for the centaur.

With Burning-tree emissary, Lightning Mauler, and the rest of the aggro suite this can get crazy fast.

I prefer garruk's companion, the trample gives it more flexibility and mana fixing shdnt be a problem in green/with tons of duals. Scab-clan maulers also better

Hey! Who's the pig?
Are you talkin' to me?
Uh-oh, they called him a pig.
Are you talking to *me*?
Ya shouldn't have done that.
ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?
Now they're in for it.
THEY CALL ME MR. PIG! AHHHH!

I enjoyed dropping this on my third turn after dropping my Mogg Flunkies on turn two in a recent draft. Swing for 6 before your opponent has anything up.

Works soooo well in a gruul aggro deck. A good early game aggressor or a good late game sneak attack.

He pairs really well with Arbor Elf too, since that way you can get a 3/3 haste swinging as early as turn two thanks to Stomping Grounds.

I'm gonna miss this pig. Loved playing him in Gruul Aggro last year.
