This is the biggest gap in rating I've seen in... Ever.
I could rate one side really high, and the other low, but....
Also, this can be done at end of turn, after assigning blockers, before opponent's declare attackers, etc. Points if you tap the target of a Tumble Magnet with this.

Commander review: blows. Even if you run a vampire commander, she is still a bear that is, at times, a 4/4 vanilla. It's in both cases not useful. 1/5

My God. Innistrad and Dark Ascension are not letting up. I look at this and I find myself wishing a Champion of the Parish would break down the door and save the poor girl from the evil vampires. She's only willing because she thinks it's the only way to survive! She's lost faith in heroes! That's TERRIBLE! They're gonna KILL HER!!! :O :'(
Innistrad is far too full of beautiful women in mortal peril. :p

I can't expect more from a common. Beautiful art, relevant limited ability, and a nice 4/4 body for 3 under the right circumstances. You aren't going to play this in constructed, but then they weren't expecting you to.

Does the joy you receive from flipping this lovely card outweigh the disadvantage of actually having it in your deck?
Even though I would never play a 4/4 for 3 that couldn't attack for a full two turns, I think it still might be fun enough to play! Is that crazy?

This reminds me of Screeching Bat/Stalking Vampire in that it's a vampire flip card with really nice flavor, but just can't compete with other 3 drop vampires. I wish they'd made them both a little smaller and had them cost 2.

So let me this straight, tarted up vampire fangirls are as tough as Grizzly Bears now? ;)
Seriously though, I like what they were trying to accomplish with this card. Dark Ascension has a few cards in Black that want to you sacrifice Humans, and this card gives you an in-color human sacrifice that you can flip to become a member of a relevant Black tribe. I just wish that she was a 1/1 to 3/3 for 1B, instead of the current incarnation.

Qualities examined by the House of Markov to determine eligibility:
1) Womanhood. 2) The willingness or desire to wear clothing that reveals or highlights the breasts. 3) The ability to singlehandedly kill a pack of Grizzly Bears in a cage match.

"My fiance used to be a devout follower of Avacyn. In fact, I met her for the first time within the temple of her little village, where I had stopped to endure the night. I had only planned to spend the one night, but after meeting her, it stretched into a week, then a month, and then I had spent a whole year in her little village, perhaps the happiest year of my life.
But, the road called to me once again to continue my pilgrimage, but this time I didn't want to journey it alone. Though she was reluctant at first, fearful in the way only a devotee raised in fear could be, I pleaded with her until she agreed to accompany me to the city of Thraben. And, during the journey, far away from her doting parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins and half-cousins, I asked her to marry me.
Our first few days in Thraben were a blur of bliss. But, as she met more and more people within the big city, I noticed small changes. I had almost always had been the center of her attention within her small village, but in the city her attention rarely drifted towards me, always captured by some spectacle of urban life. While I encouraged her to settle on a date to be married, she spent more and more time away from me, attracting friends with her beauty and rural charms.
One of these friends, a servant to a noble from Stensia, found her work within his manor. Within days she went from a mere maid to a lady-in-waiting, and though I was quite happy at first, I knew a mere wandering acolyte would not be fit to marry her.
I began to study the lore of Avacyn in earnest within a church, pledging to her that we would marry once I became ordained as a Cathar. For a brief instant, as if in a panic, she asked if we could be married that very day, but I told her that our love would not change, and that I would make a poor husband for her as I was then.
I saw less and less of her as I ferociously studied the ways of Avacyn, often surprising the priests and Cathars with my passion and devotion. When I did see her, she would recount glamorous parties, filled with refined guests who would tell her the most entertaining stories. Her tales of these parties seemed blurred, with her line of thought breaking often, and I grew to wonder if she drank too much at them, and would warn her of losing herself amongst the nobles. She would often take offense to such remarks, despite me reassuring her that all I cared for was her and all that was good for her.
After several hard months of work I thought would break me each day, it was announced I would be ordained at the next full moon, with honors bestowed upon me. As I rushed home to tell the good news, I found only a letter waiting for me.
Expensive, immaculate vellum so white that it glowed in the dim moonlight that fell upon it, tied with a ribbon so deeply red that my eyes could do little but be drawn to it.
It was so beautiful, it was frightening.
When I had gathered my courage and finished reading the letter, I did not weep, or shout, nor did I throw the furniture about the room. I carefully, slowly, rebound the letter with its red ribbon, and then lit one end with a candle. As it burned upon the table, I headed for the church, to ask if I could receive the silver blade of the Cathar that very night."

I'd like her a lot more if you didn't have to tap herself for transformation: Play the card, tap a Vampire, hope your opponent doesn't respond with Shock and you just got yourself a fully functional 4/4 bloodsucker for in your Vampire deck.
Also Mr. Argyle, is it just me or did you draw another person on the back of this card? The facial features look similar, but still the face mamages to somehow look like one of a completely different person.

I adore the mechanic and artistry of this card. The girl on the first have is exceptionally gorgeous and rendered amazingly well, the red ribbon is a terrific detail, she reminds me of Sarah Jarosz... And then she gets flipped over into a generic vampiratrix.
I would love to build a deck around this pretty face, if only it did something useful. They should have spent more time on the other side.

Really likes to make use of the phrase "Tap". With Conspiracy, you could have her tap some of the most weirdest creatures. Lorthos, the Tidemaker, yeah you know where this is going.
She's just so adorable, so innocent, I don't want to flip her... It's just not her time!

In addition to being a 4/4 for 3 (basically), this is a black human, perfect fuel for a lot of vampires.
Remember, you don't have to turn her, you can just as easily eat her.

Too slow. By the time you can actually use it, it's turn 5 and you could just be playing 4/4 creatures (with actually useful abilities) directly from your hand; and you wasted a turn on a vampire to get there, too. Assuming you didn't end up with her in play and no vampire, in which case she sucks completely...
