Blue player: That guy with the Karador dredge deck will win next turn. What do you say we join forces and mill him to death?

lorendorky, Hive Mind doesn't work, the mana to draw cards is paid on resolution, so that the number of cards drawn wouldn't be copied.

So... I wonder how many cards I can draw with a consecrated sphinx on the filed. Or how many cards I can mill them by having jace's erasure on the field. Or how much damage I can do with this card in a Niv-Mizzet EDH deck. (I refuse to call it commander, especially if i use a kick-ass dragon as my general anyway.

@Leonidus78 - If each player in a ten-player game kicks in one mana, you could draw up to 180 cards with the Sphinx out.

@Leonidus78 and Alssbra.

And, to complete the utter mindfuck, Jace's Erasure.

I like the idea of the join forces mechanic, but i think only the players who actually payed should get the benefit... otherwise its more like "profit off the caster"

Really interesting aspect about this card is that is does not "Cost" X. Meaning that unlike it's fellow X draw Prosperity. If you play with an effect that lets you wave the mana cost such as Galvanoth or Epic Experiment, you still have the option of "Paying" X mana since it's part of the card's effect and not it's mana cost.
