Hmm, I'm confused about this card. This is like tap target land with cantrip, plus all their creatures lose haste right?

New Phyrexia has so many cool cards in it.

Oh! This looks like a nice little gem. It's not too often you find an elegant white card that boosts and disrupts tempo flow. This will go nicely with Remand in my causal tempo disruption deck.

This is one of those cards that nobody will run until somebody wins a big tournament with it as lock down, and then everybody and their brother will run it.

You understand their combo will happen this turn? Trip it in response to draw.

Opponent just dropped a token-spam spell? Catch 'em swingin'.

Make a particularly good hit with this? Sunblast Angel.

In a storm of golden light, the great queen entered. Her divine form glistened and shone like a star within the blackened Phyrexian muck. Her blood-red robes trailed behind her and with her she commanded a regal aura of extreme elegance. Some were compelled to bow and kneel before her while most withered spontaneously and fell forward dead.

Yes... The queen truly is magnificent.

@ Isochron Scepter:
This wouldn't help much, since he will untap those permanents one turn later nonetheless.

I like this card. It combines anything I like about white.

Primarily it stops haste, delays artifacts with tap abilities and has a hidden: "the next spell costs 1 more" if your opponent has planned to play a land that turn. And I am the biggest fan of white draw spells. All together it's a seemingly harmless way to stop or slow your opponent. It's so perfectly white.

However, I don't really know, if I would play this spell. This is due to the fact that R&D still follows two contrary ways with white. First, they design aggressive creatures and removal, focussing on tap-all-out, win-fast strategy. The second way is the more flavorful, peaceful way, where white uses all tricks to delay, deny, imprison the opponent and the spells he plays.

So I would really love to play that card, but the slower white way lacks of cards at some important places. Sadly, it's an uncommon card. This makes it unplayable in pauper games, where it could really shine.

Whoever is responsible for this card @ R&D. My best wishes.

I like this one. It's a nice little time walk... Or at least it would be if it affected planeswalkers. Screwing their land drop is always sweet though.

I like the idea of playing it in response to a creature in order to kill it with gideon jura or sunblast angel.

I feel like this is the sort of card that could be a major sleeper hit, but it could also easily fall flat.

This is meant for the broken stick, fo' sho'. Turning into a one-shot per permanent Tumble Magnet that draws you cards. Awesome.

When i saw this card i said Isochron Scepter target and one heck of a one at that. It says permanents and it cantrips so so insane.

@Deepfried Owls: This is why I love Elesh Norn. Elegant, deadly and unsettling all at once.

My favorite white tapping effect. Can be godly if you can bounce Sunblast Angel onto the field during a big building play.

Its most common use would be in white control to stall the opponent. Play it during their upkeep turn 2 to prevent them from casting a spell that turn.

Hilarious other use would be to hose any sort of hasty creature that dies at end of turn, like Ball Lightning

@Cheza I think this would work wonderfully with the Isochron Scepter. Ok, they untap all their permanents their next turn, but still: Everything they play come into play tapped, and you get an extra card every turn. The combined advantages in cards and speed would probably be quite helpful.

Have you ever seen a tapped Enchant World?
