Also affects cast-from-graveyard creatures like Gravecrawler.

I was unimpressed with what Blue had to offer in this set until I saw this card.

It certainly gets you more for the bajillion flashback effects there are.

At the same casting cost as Burning Vengeance, I am utterly unimpressed. What with the majority of red and blue Innestrad block flashback being horribly expensive manawise, I doubt it will see play outside of casual.

Am I right in thinking this would *not* trigger with Bloodghast?

A very good card, but don't run a 4-of in your Burning Vengeance deck, or it gets too diluted

Oh god they just gave the Haakon + Nameless Inversion decks their best toy yet. They've already been splashing blue for Careful Study effects...
This card finally makes Oona's Grace work as it should. ;)

This really should have had a different casting cost than Burning vengeance in my opinion, that deck is already slow and tapping out 2 turns to cast your engine pieces really hurts. Even Altar of the Lost costs 3 mana and to add insult to injury, comes into play tapped.
That said, I think running 2 of these in a dedicated BR deck is alright. I just wish it costed 1U but I guess that would make it too good for other miscellaneous decks that cats stuff from the graveyard. *sigh*
Right, Bloodghast doesn't trigger it because it is not being cast.

Bow down, sheep to the slaughter Bow down, follow the creator Into the path of the unknown Where they must walk alone
The unholy are lifeless Sunken eyes dripping black The secrets of the dead
Hopeless, disgusting, pathetic human beings Annihilation of what you believe Now you will

Take control of my everything Killing them systematically My power is growing Their blood is flowing

@Rikiaz Thank you soooo much for the Chimaira reference. I was starting to think I was the only one that made that connection. Then again, I don't know any Magic players that also know Chimaira... Either way, I'm gonna go drop that disc in and rock it... Shout out to all the metal-heads in the multiverse...
