A one drop that in most cases either attracts a removal spell or kills a creature? This is incredible, I'm getting four.

I knew that black deserved this kind of card. I just wonder what took them so long.

In two consecutive games during the prerelease my opponent and I both played this card during our first turn. This ended up with our rats immediately destroying one another on turn 2. Identical polar opposites.
@JFM: RatS. There's probably like a horde of them.

I was updating my black control deck for new standard, and was sorting through my friend's spare commons. I kept passing this card, and actually decided to stop and read it for once.
Now I have four.

The only downside I can see is that it has a power of 1. I don't know many players that would block with something tasty against a deathtoucher, as opposed to just taking the 1 damage. It can still ruin the first phases of the game for anyone.

In limited, I smile at this card, no matter whose side of the board it's on and say, "Hello Morbid."
Beware what you block with this card. You might turn on my Skirsdag High Priest or my Morkrut Banshee. Or both, kekeke. Removal is just scary on Innistrad :D
Amazing for a one-drop. Skeletal Grimace would make this guy very effective, a rat that can be thrown to kill anything. Also deserves a high-spot in my rat deck.

one drop deathtouch....and with no drawbacks, this may pose a problem for many players out there. Definitely using them.
If you want fun for a penny, slap a bladed pinions on this baby. It's $0.16 for a playset of both cards total.

Gee, Brain. What are we going to do tonight?
The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world.

Can someone explain to me how can this guys hold a Viridian Longbow? Because I sure as hell can't imagine it very well, but the result is really ridiculous ... and DEADLY.
Turn 1: Rats Turn 2: Longbow && Guul Draz Vampire Turn 3: Equip the Longbow and I kill anything you put on that battlefield :D

A 1 drop with deathtouch... Definitely a 5/5.
It's a common too, so it's cheap.
What more do you want on it? flying, first strike and lifelink?

Turn 1 swamp this, turn 2 Swarmyard can be pretty annoying against certain decks, if not game-wrecking

Late game, when I'm on the draw and already have a dozen swamps in play, I'm still happy to draw these cheap furry monsters.

@Monstersexist
My Girlfriend put these in her discard/rat ninja deck with those damn swarmyards. I was scarred for life.

It's a 1-drop with freakin' deathtouch. That makes it a 4/5 in my book, even before you examine Swarmyard. Play with Scout's Warning or equivalent for optimum aggravation.

One of the best one drops for black, he doesn't even have to be in a Rat Tribal deck to really shine. This card + Swarmyard is absolutely ridiculous, it can single handedly shut down your opponent's side of creatures.

Fine. Don't block my Typhoid Rats. But if you don't......
