Here is some errata that would restore its fourth edition targeting functionality:
Creatures target opponent controls attack this turn if able.
Cast Siren's Call only during that opponent's turn, before attackers are declared.
At the beginning of the next end step, destroy all non-Wall creatures that opponent controls that didn't attack this turn. Ignore this effect for each creature that opponent didn't control continuously since the beginning of this turn.
One of the few cards capable of actually making Stasis fun to play, back in the day. Well, this and Time Elemental.

A beautiful card in a free-for-all game; it forces your opponent to attack but doesn't specify whom.
So either make yourself an undesirable target (first strike, deathtouch, No Mercy, Propaganda, the possibilities are endless) or sabotage another opponent's defenses, then play this card on the player with the biggest/most creatures. Just like that, one opponent is either dead or crippled and another is left vulnerable until his or her untap phase.

Another great combo with this card? Lightmine Field. Just beautiful.

Pair up with energy arc for a two card, three mana creature wipe.
So, I doubt anyone will respond but I'm asking anyway. I built a deck around this card, combining it with Stonehorn Dignitary and/ or Moment of Silence. The way I read this card, the combination should sweep my opponent's board. I've read some mixed reviews of that strategy. does it really work?
