Red Deck Wins just got another great 1 drop...

Decent, but not fantastic. Haste would seal the deal.

I'll play anything with the word "scamp" in its title!

Cute, but without some sort of evasion this becomes terrible as a top deck.

Any deck that wants to play this is better off with Emberwilde Augur

"Scamp's a pup who's not afraid to chase his dreams..."

Stupid Lady and the Tramp 2 commercial being ingrained in my mind forever.

Wow, the word 'scamp' makes anything instantly adorable.

Come on, little guy! Get in for 4!

I think it's a really great 1 drop that can potentially it for 4. Great in Limited and Constructed playable.

I'm giving him a 5. He's potential one drop (slow) burn spell for 4.(Or 1 and burn a planeswalker for 3.) Yeah, not as big as Goblin Guide, but still solid, in my opinion. He's common too, so he's nice for pauper too. Also, "Scamp" does make him sound more adorable! <3

An awesome Red drop. Top-deck this little guy whith Urabrask the Hidden in play and you are in business.

Art is also cute. 5/5

I guess he makes an ok topdeck with Urabrask the Hidden.

EDIT: Put him in your LD deck. Then he's an amazing topdeck.

I have 4 of this little guy in my R/U deck. At worst, he's a 1/1 for one. At best, he's 4 damage or more.

I find it kind of odd he isn't a goblin. He fits into the New Phyrexia goblin vibe really well.

High risk, high reward. If he connects (which is something RDW aims for anyway), he's better than Lightning Bolt.

Sadly not a goblin but I suppose it is alright otherwise.

Well he's no Goblin Guide but he's a pretty decent 1 drop for red and is much lighter on the wallet than the guide so perfect for a casual red deck

Wow, this guy packs such a punch.
Gives red even more great tools.

Also is perfect for UR decks, since Vapor Snag will give it enough cover for 5 damage on turn 2.
UR for a lava Axe, and a return to hand spell? GIMME!!!!

I'd like him better at haste with one more mana. I dunno, he's pretty nice now, too. Cute, anyway.

The great thing about this guy is that you ALWAYS want to attack on turn 2. Even he does get blocked, he's usually taking a creature with him. Most of the other one drops in standard have one toughness and your opponent is most likely not going to want to block with him. And don't forget you're playing red, so a turn two Arc Trail will most likely clear the way for this to get through.

Great one drop with a neat little ability. Love to use with Goblin Tunneler for a good 4 damage. Would be better with haste. 4/5

Kicks my friend's mill deck in the balls. He never has early creatures, and 4 damage to the face in turn 2 hurts badly.

So this is the Shrimp Scampi that Red Lobster keeps advertising for $9.99.

Really quite surprised that this isn't used in the Kessig Wolf Run deck that's floating around standard.. but I guess hitting them for 6+x from Primeval Titan is better, there won't usually be a turn free before the titan is dropped to pump this little dude to hit for 1+x+3..

So I checked the price of that titan recently. £65 for a playset. Um.. ok.. think I'll stick to my casual agro ramp that doesn't use my entire student budget for a week.. I'll just hit them in the face with pumped Viridian Emissarys, Furnace Scamps and Spitemares, then I'll drop Inferno Titan on them ^^

I'm totally on this little guy's band wagon. I first used him in a R/W Warcry deck to send him through for an initial 2 or 3 and then pop him for three more. My friends quickly wised up and started blocking him but it didn't really do them a lot of good because they just had to let something else through. That deck was such a menace that I had to take it apart. I've used him in two other decks since.

The second was a B/R sacrifice deck where all the creatures did damage when they died. Starting off turn one with him really gets you 1/5th closer to the goal and triggering Tragic Slip doesn't hurt either.

His most recent role is in a mono-red Innistrad vampire deck. Seems weird but put a Furor of the Bitten on him. Your opponent will squirm every time he swings and will do typically whatever it takes to chump block him if they don't have removal ready. You can use him to keep your opponents board clean for at least the first three turns. Then you can drop something like Nightbird's Clutches, Panic Spellbomb, Crossway Vampire, or Fervent Cather to help push him through for six on top of whatever else has gotten through. It's really quite effective.

Should this have been a Goblin? I guess the flavor called for Beast, but dang if that isn't the smallest beast I've ever seen.

Known as woof-kaboom in my playgroup. Great card for distraction and making a foe waste their removal.

The single most adorable self-destructing Phyrexianized monstrosity in the game!
Is this Urabrask's puppy?

I have this guy in a casual red/green all creature deck based around Ruric Thar, and cares about creatures in the graveyard. Bloodrushing a Ghor-Clan Rampager onto this on turn two with no blockers is a great feeling!

I really want to kill someone by tainted striking this unblocked...
