this is a great card. ALL permanents too, not just creatures. sticks around for awhile too, unlike some of the other 'ongoing' schemes whose abandon threshold is low.

The trick is to build a deck that can abuse the untapped lands. Still, that isn't too hard to do. Look at it this way- The eternal dillemna for a control deck is do you tap out and drop a fatty, or try to keep your opponents under control. This lets you do both!

Is it just me, or is the the only ongoing scheme where the abandon condition is just random and unconnected?

the abandon condition is somewhat related, meaning, if you use the extra mana to burn a lot of instants and sorceries, well it goes away. so while being really powerful it still limits you in the amount of expendable cards you can play per turn.
The best part about this card is when the heros are acting all smug because they think you're going to be forced to abandon it... and all you give a slow, exaggerated yawn, tap a blue mana, and drop Stifle in the middle of the table.

It makes the game go faster. I don't like that.

So, How does this interact with Tamiyo, The Moon Sage's Ultimate? does this just never get abandoned?
