I kinda wish it said "leaves the battlefield", for insane interactions with Worldfire. Alas, that would make it too easy to break in other situations.

A great 1-drop for RDW and other monored aggro decks. Nice to see it back again.

Probably one of my favorite goblins. So perfectly designed.

I used to think this was an okay but ultimately lesser version of Mogg Fanatic. But I was musing about the two today and I realized that despite your ability to control Mogg Fanatic's death, this little guy is probably more useful in most situations. Being ability to chump block or trade with a weenie AND ping anything and anyone makes this fantastic. Better in earlier swings, better in mid-game blocking, better in late game swarming, even better at finishing off that last life point... or at least funnier.

Two of these and a chirurgeon= turn two win. Just sayin. Best budget combo IMO.

Will the real Mogg Fanatic please stand up. Please stand up. Please stand up.
It's like Wizards heard the universal grumble when combat damage stopped using the stack and decided to give us back our Mogg Fanatic. This little guy is so versatile; interacts well with Goblin Grenade, can take out X/2s, or Gorgon Flail him so his ping turns lethal. 5/5

RE: That_one_med
This doesn't combo with Chirugeon at all.
1) Regenerating sacced creatures does nothing; they still go to the graveyard
2) Even if Regenerating a sacced creature did prevent it from going into the graveyard, then it wouldn't "die", so the ping effect wouldn't trigger.
If you ever killed anyone with that "combo" you should feel really bad. Of course, they should too, because this is pretty basic Magic. If you could regen sacced creatures, it would open up a LOT of broken stuff.
2 unavoidable damage straight to the face of your opponent.
Now combo that with a few poison counters...
Oh my

A very good and reliable one drop for Red. While Mogg Fanatic is favorable in some situations, I seem to find that Goblin Arsonist is better in almost every situation, the only exception being if you need to ping a creature or if your goblin is threatened with exile.
For instance, say you swing turn two with this and an Ash Zealot or something. If they block it with a creature with two toughness, they risk losing the creature, and if they block the Ash Zealot it's likely the creature will die as well, making it so that depending on how far the game it might as well be an unblockable 1/1, or a 2/1 for one.
Likewise, even late game, getting pinged for one can be quite the big deal if they do decide to block, especially when you consider that cards like Brimstone Volley and Goblin Grenade make good use to him dying.
Overall a great one drop, for RDW and any other aggro deck. I hope this guy sticks around for a while.
