This card, like the dudesweats it returns, has no place in Vintage. It is in no way "too good."

another top card from mirrodin,
combine with a couple of dross scorpians and you have half of a sac engine.
that may sound crap having to combine it with other cards for it to work efficiantly, but with the artifact synergy it is insane

If I had March of the Machines out would this card work on artifacts that normally aren't creatures?

Would look better if the activation cost were printed with the split mana symbol.

Incredibly cheap. one mana to put any artifact creature in your hand? REALLY? this gets annoying with modular decks and grave pact.

Works great with Esper Sojourner as a repeatable Twitch.
Also nice with Sanctum Plowbeast.

Turns Korlash, Heir to Blackblade into "Korlash gets +2/+2, put 2 swamps on the field" for B or 3, but considering Korlash sucks outside of mono-black (not counting urborg) its a moot point.

Hes my new head honcho for my discard deck.

"except one"? doesn't that hint for it to be a LEGENDARY artifact?

"...except one"

...eh, or 1-4, anyway. Or up to eight if your opponent has a full set in their deck too. And that's assuming that this is only two-player. Hell, nevermind, I take back what I said - there are actually lots of skeleton shards in Mephidross.

You know where this card is useless? IN A SKELETON DECK.

Wurmcoil Engine would be a good combo to lose friends. (as if Wurmcoil Engine itself isn't abusive enough)
