Make all your creatures nigh-unblockable? This guy is a must!

A 4/4 six-drop that makes your creatures effectively unblockable? Awesome!

And he even has decent creature types. Along with Sun Ce, Young Conquerer, Lu Xun, Scholar General, Lu Meng, Wu General and maybe Wu Light Cavalry there are a couple of decent P3K Soldiers which, along with some other goodies like Wake Thrasher, make a good reason to spash blue.

Veteran's Armaments and white Soldier goodies which make them cheaper and stronger should proof to be useful with those hardly blockable blue choices. And spashing blue also allows provides decent possibilities for card advantage, something that white's normally missing. Aside from Enlistment Officer, you'll could also run Lu Xun or Distant Melody to refill your hand.

Aside from Captain of the Watch, Preeminent Captain gets a new awesome buddy to put onto the battlefield with Sun Quan - the captain will get horsemanship immediately and be able to hit your opponent easily, finally allowing to repeat the process on the next turn with another soldier when he'll be attacking along with this legend which will also hit your opponent for four.

So the question of the day is, Wu's on first?

I wept when I had no horsemen. Until I got beat by a kid who had all horesmanshippers. It's such a forgotten mechanic that whoever runs it will never face an opponent who is prepared to encounter it.

Horsemanship: when flying, landwalk, shadow, intimidate, and fear just aren't enough.

But anyways this thing is insane. Looks like Asia is amazing, cuz it works very well with ninjas.

These forgotten mechanics are so broken today, like shadow, as none are prepared for it, so this guy effectively makes your creatures unblockable. Too much.

Why does this get 4.5 stars when Deepchannel Mentor gets 3.5 stars? Ya, it's a little better. I think it's from all the eye-rolling when you say "I'm unblockable because I'm On A Horse!" or "What, you don't have any horsemanship creatures?"

you know one hilarous thing about horsemanship is that there are creatures in magic that have horses, and no horsemanship....

Is it just me, or is this the craziest EDH general (in the best color for EDH) of all time?

I love that they oracled out the reminder text about giving himself horsemanship, then gave us a ruling that said the same thing.

Anything is possible when you smell like Sun Quan and not a lady. I'm on a horse.

Seto Kaiba: I'm on a blimp, muthaf*cka!

Sun Quan: Yes, good sir, but I'm on a horse. A horse, I might add, that I did not paint to look like a Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Seriously man, what were you thinking?!

@nathreet because +2/+2 and affecting all colour creatures is a significant advantage

4/4 cmc:6 creatures you control are unblockable. no one plays horsemanship these days.
