I love enchantresses, it's just a pity there aren't too many enchantments to utilize her like I'd like to. I do miss the Verduran Enchantress, but I'm happy with sister here. The only thing I'm not happy about is her hair. It's always pestered me.

True, that is silly hair. How do we feel about card draw in white? I guess this is very cantrip-y, which white tends to do well...

One of those cards you build a deck around. My friend runs a WB soldier deck running these Holy Strengths, Unholy Strengths, Armored Ascensions, etc all combined with black removal.
Works nicely, gets crazy sometimes. Always fun.

Enchantresses aren't meant to be played in creature-heavy decks in the first place, but they do a great job in enchantment-based decks (who woulda thought?) But you're right about the card-drawing aspect. Now i think about it, white has only a very few cards which primarily focus on card advantage, such as Inheritance. On the other hand it's specified card advantage, which is trackable in every color.

and suddenly he enchantment disadvantage for auras disappears if you run her with her best friend Mask of Law and Grace
@Selez, Worldwake runs great land animation enchantments which return the land they enchant to play if they go to the graveyard. Also an enchantment that gives all lands you control indestructable.
Mesa Enchantress + Oblivion Ring, Journey to Nowhere, Sigil of the Empty Throne, Pacifism, Crystalization, Luminarch Ascension, Sunspring Expedition 8 different cards X 4 copies = 32 Add some Pathes and you're good to go with a standard deck.
Watch this card with Totem Armor, exile is for-the-most-part leaving standard with Alara block, so the "When it's DESTROYED" clause will become very powerful

It's a sad thing that about 40% of cards in a RDW deck kills her, and then your deck filled with 20+ subpar enchantments just fall apart. That's why I loveEnchantress's Presence, and have been waiting forever for a reprint.
if u have mesa enchantress on the battlefield and u cast a enchantment but ur opponet counterspells the enchantment u just casted would mesa enchantress ability still resolve becuase it says draw a card when u cast a enchantment it never said u had to succesfully cast the enchantment?

Sets are designed and finalized over a year before they are released to the public. I hope don't feel responsible for Mesa Enchantress in M10.
