Unless you're playing a B/R deck, of course. The flexibility of Flickering Ward is nice, but Mask of Law and Grace grants protection from two colors at once. I wouldn't say Flickering Ward puts it to shame.

Great sideboard tech against B/R, especially because neither color can deal with enchantments, and neither has a particularly large arsenal of efficient, non-targeted kill spells (save for Damnation, although that post-dated Mask of Law and Grace by six years or so).

Those who don the mask go blind with zeal.

Anyone else think this would have made a nice cycle à la the Swords?
Also, the foil version of this card must look awesome.

I give this a 4/5 because of the artwork alone, and the nostalgia it brings. One of the reasons I initially got into Magic. The card just has such great mystique and flavor.
